The moment I first watched this video, my immediate thought was that I couldn't do it. I was too attached to my dog and thought the training was primarily for humans. However, I now understand the true purpose of training: to bring happiness and well-being to both humans and dogs! Thank you for showing me how humans and dogs can come together and live harmoniously. 😊
My dog howls like a wolf if I leave the room and close the door. He shakes and becomes very distressed. I live alone and dread having to leave him even for a few minutes. Your dog is well trained unfortunately others are not.

I have two Dobermans. Talk about velcro dogs! They follow me everywhere. I like it and understand they need this closeness of the pack.
By using your teachings I'll teach them basic ways of understanding that I'll be back and they don't need to follow me. Plus being Dobermans they love being challenged. They enjoy activities and something like this will help them.
My dog following me everywhere but not all the time. I set boundaries in the house. He sleep in his own beds with cat beside. I close room door every night or put a gate in the door, i dont cuddle him all the time like a babies😂. I always say goodbye i will be back, be good okay and i leave some kong with treats inside. And he just sit there till im back. When im back i pet him give him some treats
My fur baby, I rescued him last year, he is a covid pup. If I leave him for longer then 5 mins he chews, and it’s only me. I’m gonna give this a go as I’m running out of ideas of what to do anymore, he is chewing our house up so much now. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 it works
This video was very helpful because today we were gonna and left the dogs by themselves, well when we came home there was pee everywhere shoes and a hole in my wall by the door and we travel quite a bit so this is helpful tip and can’t wait to see what comes of their training

How do i get my puppy to stay in the point of reference?If he starts following immediately, so how he stays put in the first place?
How does it start for first time? As you are showing a trained dog, not how it will stop following for first time?
As you mentioned, he will follow, so if you go little ahead he will come

What about when you go on vacation for six weeks and leave them at someone else's house? How do you help the dog deal with that?
