  4. I have a five month Lhasa female puppy , I noticed I carried her to get somethings and suddenly she started having seizure just at her back legs and she only have seizure whenever I carry her on a particular position ..what foes that mean pls ?

  5. Our 15 year old healthy long hair dachshund had a DHPP vaccine that I believe caused my dog to have a seizure. My doggie was feeling very bad all day and night after the vacine and had very loose stools. 2 and a half days later he had a seizure. My Wife and I were crying in fear. He is such a sweet gentle boy and so loving. We wish we never let him get this vaccine. Can this be the cause of his symptoms? We definitely donā€™t want to go back to that office as they insisted our little boy be vaccinated before he could have his wellness exam.

  8. I looked for a contact email, I am not sure if you even take questions through email- I did not find one. I followed you on Twitter in hopes I could DM you šŸ„ŗthey are closed. Have a great day and keep doing great videos. Thank you

  9. My 14 year old Maltese had a seizure a few nights ago, rushed her to the ER all to sit and wait for a Dr. almost 1 1/2 hours. There was no Dr. at the ER. Thankfully she is still with us. Love your channel and thank you for all this information.

  10. Thank you, my lab started having seizures about ever 7-10 days. Vet wanted to put him on medications, I tried CBD oil, he now has a seizure every 2-3 months. They are horrible to go thru with them

  11. I have a dog that use to have seizures. I learned somewhere to put an ice pack on the spine & keep calm & talk to them. So I kept a gel pack in my freezer. He experienced a pretty bad seizure one day, I applied the ice pack & he quickly relaxed, still shaking, but more coherent, then I gave him CBD oil after the episode .
I started giving him coconut oil in his food, heā€™s small, so I started with 1/4 tsp once a day. Itā€™s suppose to help with dementia also (healthy fat for the brain). Itā€™s been about 4 years now that heā€™s been seizure freešŸ‘.
I love your videos Dr. Jones!! Youā€™ve helped me look into natural cures for all of our fur babies conditionsšŸ˜˜

  12. My previous dog , one night had a seizure . He had low calcium level due to kidney failureā€¦ so scary and disheartening because I didnā€™t know he was ill .

  13. One of my catā€™s has seizure disorder, pretty well controlled now with medication. Iā€™m curious if a cold compress to the groin is advisable for cats as well?
    Thank you, as always!

  14. My dog started having seizures since a few months ago. First time Iā€™ve seen him experiencing it I immediately thought he was dying. So scary. He doesnā€™t have them often but last week he was screaming so loud waking up from a seizure and one of his front leg was in a weird painful position.

  15. Great Video doc… also what i noticed with my personal experiences with large breed dogs… if possible you position your knee or feet to stop the legs from travelling .. the dog while seizured seems to attempt to right itself. or travel forwards .. allowing their paws to anchor against you feet does allow for the dog to be more calm as it regains it senses.. also when the dog comes around it is similar to epileptic persons, they are a bit confused and want to walk it off as if nothing happened..

  16. My 13 year old large girl has seizures at night- took me a while to realize they werenā€™t just dreams. Short lasting thankfully. I coincidentally have a daughter with epilepsy. CBD really helps both of them. šŸ’š
Thank you for saying do not try to grab their tongue- people with epilepsy do not swallow their tongues…now I know the same is true for my dog ā™„ļø

  17. My dog had too many seizures. It last over 6 mins. I did everything I could. It costs me over 6, 000 dollars. Finally we had to put him to sleep. I was very depressed for over 1 month. So i wrote a poem and put together a book of history. His name was Dutch.

  18. My last dog that passed away started having seizures a few months before she died. I can't put into words how scary that was for me.
She lived to be 14 1/2 had her since she was 11 weeks. I don't think the sadness will ever go away šŸ˜„šŸ¶šŸ’”

  19. Iā€™m a dog groomer and have seen several seizures while grooming, itā€™s the most helpless feeling. If you have a seizure prone dog, consider mobile service for grooming or having the dog groomed at a vets office. Let the groomer know the situation and how the dogā€™s symptoms or triggers begin. Some dogs get worse from full moons, high temperatures, thunder, separation anxiety, loud noises (like a dryer) or riding in cars.

  20. Press on nose between nostrils and upper lip. Hold until seizure slows or subsides. Dr Jones has a video on this. It works until you can figure out what to do, and it calms the dog. I also use Rescue Remedy to help calm the pet.

  21. This happened to my middle dog and I failed step one. I was hysterical calling for my family members to come. Happened about 2 am in the morning. Thank God it only lasted about 30 sec, although it seemed like an eternity.
