Next time you visit Tondo, perhaps ask driver to bring you to China Town. From generations' passed restaurants to historical spots, there's much to see there.
Just be careful entering the seedy place in Tondo Manila, Chaotic well known Gangster lair, but mostly the People and kids you encounter are friendly and very accommodating but always be careful 😁

Please be careful when visiting Philippines, it is very dangerous due to it being extremely poor and underdeveloped. The intentional homicide rate is at 6.43 which is higher than war torn Ukraine! You can be killed at anytime in this country which has a 37% slum population.
I wished you would have made a little research about your topic (Tondo) to include what the goverment has been doing to alleviate the living conditions of the people living in Tondo. For the information of everyone who cares, the City of Manila has constructed two condominium buildings in Vitas, Tondo for the informal settlers in the area. One other condominium was contructed in Del Pan area, also in Manila for the urban poor in that part of the city. Several housing units have also been constructed by the local government of Manila in BASECO area for the urban poor. These housing units have already been occupied by the selected beneficiaries. It is hoped that more housing units like these will be built sooner or later.
I highly recommend that you visit these newly constructed housing units to see the quality of these units and interview some of the beneficiaries. This will generate widespread interest in your video and increase your viewership
On the other hand, the national government through the National Housing Authority (NHA) has been relocating informal settlers/ homeless from the metro manila areas to the settlements built in several provinces (Bulacan, Cavite). Priority has been given to those living in the flood prone areas.
There are many Non-Government organizations (NGOs) including celebrities who have been doing charity works, livelihood training skills and other activities to help alleviate the living conditions of the people in Tondo and improve their lives.
The people there maybe poor but they're not necessarily violent as more and more of them gets educated with the free education of the Philippine national government.
