I’m currently 24 and been smoking since I was 18-19 in college and I’m stuck in this balance between smoking in moderation and as soon as something negative (bad day at work) or positive, I binge 😭 I wish I was able to use weed in moderation but I LOVE IT ! My sobriety journey begins soon yall wish me luck 🙏🏾
It’s interesting because I have temporal lobe epilepsy and focal unaware seizures. And after my seizures cannabis actually brings me out of the psychosis from the seizure. Phytocannabinoids can actually help regulate endocannabinoid system if you were born with a malfunctioning one. Cannabis IS medicine but just like any other medicine it can be abused and have negative effects on people. That’s what really upsets me. The stoners that say “you just smoked the wrong strain” if the person had a panic attack or something worse. It’s a psychoactive substance and everyone’s brain operates differently.
Jesus bro i just want to watch other people video about stopping weed but you made this into your personality. I cant watch anybody else because your shit videos fill up the whole thing
Most people will eventually relapse, quitting does not work in the long run, moderation or using less actually makes more sense. It's like starting a relationship with someone and hoping that it will last forever, that's just wishful thinking. Please don't be a hypocrite.
i have a serious question i’m 14 and been smoking for a year but i’ve been feeling weird ever since i quit im 14 months sober now things are getting better but do i have long term brain effects or as i stay sober do they go away and my brain wil function normally?
I’d like to thank you a lot for these videos . Quitting weed has been something on my mind for a long time now and your videos are giving me new insight and helping me realize that I do have the power to stop. I cannot thank you enough.
Hey bro , I have been trying to quit some habits and your videos is really helping me get thru it , I hope I can make it thru to the other end to see a better me without using these habits as a crutch to deal with life and stressful situations. May you be rewarded for your constant efforts regarding addiction 🙏
I’m on day 16. 😢 I feel like I can’t stand myself. My stomach hurts. Weird bowl movements. I’m so annoyed. I feel like I wanna crawl out of my own skin. I’m upset with myself for what I allowed weed to do to me. This has to get better. It just has to…Is anyone else on their second week?
I can relate to you on this Dr Frank. I think doing a deeper dive into this topic is a great idea. Weed, kratom, alcohol, and nicotine have definitely helped me in the past to achieve high grades in college while working full time and also maintaining a social life but those were only temporary fixes. It's sort of like borrowing money and having to pay it back with interest but with substance abuse, the interest is really high. Pretending like substance use and/or abuse doesn't have any positives is doing a disservice to individuals who are trying to quit or even when trying to prevent other individuals from going down that route.
I'm still trying to set weed aside but it's become such an integral part of who I am it's hard to let go of. I will continue to watch your videos though, for further encouragement. Thank you.
I've learned two key things on my own quitting journey. 1) Don't take quitting too seriously, taking it with a little bit of humor will be immensely helpful because then you won't be so rigid in your attitude and you will be able to laugh things like withdrawal symptoms off when they come your way and 2) Don't enter a mindset that claims all your years of using cannabis have been a waste of time. Personally I've learned incredible things from this plant, things I can now use in my sobriety as creative fuel. I've also learned what addiction is capable of and I'm far less likely to fall for it now. Maybe If I hadn't experienced addiction through weed, I would have to experience it through some other, much worse substance and I'd be way worse off. Be grateful for your experience, rather than combat with it constantly. It's all a mindset game. Learning how to let go and be able to see the humorous side is part of it.
Hey dr frank ive used heavily and quit in the past with extreme withdrawals, i quit again 4 days ago after smoking daily for about a month and 2 weeks first few days was as bad as i remember, but today on day 4 it almost feels like its over, My question is the amount of time you smoke does that reflect the amount of time your withdrawals will last? Also if i was to smoke occasionally say 2 joints a week would i still get withdrawals if i stopped doing that? Thank you
Respect Dr., I was surprised to see the title but I see what you are saying…five days without and not going back…need to find better ways through life challenges… energy medicine for me.
Dr frank i want to do a 1 on 1 plan with you however I’m not able to contact you thru the form on your site or your email, how can i get in touch with you
Because of your channel I’m now a week clean off bud, which is a massive amount of time for me to not smoke. I’m gonna keep going strong. Thanks for the fucking awesome content
Had an long time friend round today who i used to smoke with, i’m 12 days into quitting smoking. sat there and watched him rip a bong and didn’t even think once that i wanted to myself, i’m a completely different person now super high energy levels my vibe cannot be broken. All thanks to big man frank, everyday i wake up feeling a little better and don’t think i will ever go back. I smoked for 8 years from 14 to 22 years old. If you’re reading this looking to stop then this is your sign you can do it don’t let anybody stop you mf stay hard.
It's just sad that this frank guy is taking advantage over peo that are addicts by use manipulation techniques, everything he tells you can be found off google
Again no long term solutions just words he took from Internet, he can't address this cause he knows I'm right
Definitely think there are benefits but just like any drug MOST people can't maintain a healthy and moderate lifestyle with it. It becomes a crutch whenever something doesn't go your way in life.
Drugs shouldn't be labeled as "good" or "bad" in a general sense. They simply do what they are supposed to do. Something I had to learn the hard way lol. 19 years old got off of amphetamines wanted to find a new "drug of choice" and dabbled with benzos and opiates only to find out it wasn't the substances it was me.

weed got me on self improvement tbh aint even gonna lie
It’s mind boggling how much of a double edged sword cannabis is in so many aspects
I'm curious to your view on cbd flower.
All I have to do to quit smoking weed is entertain myself with others company for a week or less. It's so easy. But I don't want to quit, or need to.

By keeping your dose low is always good, it’s like eating too much will give you cravings.
After a while it settles
I was clean for a month from weed and I smoke for a week. But now I’m 1 week clean. Don’t quit guy, keep the good work!

I could leave so many sarcastic comments about the title of this video especially but I think I've already done my work on this channel
8 months here 💪🏻
So good…I have loved ones with these addictions and I love learning more about what the mindset is behind it. So helpful!

To be honest i dont get any benefits from smoking weed aside from severe paranoia, fatigue and depression
One month weed free and a week off cigarettes! You all can do it! Take back control. Dreams over weed all day everyday!
March 22nd was my 6-month mark THC free. First time in over 10 years going that long without it. Thank you Dr.Frank 😊

I'm an a whole off weed but it's preferable over being on it.

Slowly going from a soft drug to a hard drug.
