  1. Oh my goodness! I know this is super important; but how many people can honestly live like this? Grow our wheat, chickens, process it all, etc.? This was so interesting. Unfortunately, all it did was add anxiety to my life, as I will never be able to eat this way. Who knows, even though I might not eat the best, the lack of anxiety will let me live a long life! πŸ˜‚

  2. It is very worrying when the supermarkets are not being truthful with ingredients. Since the UK came out of Europe it seems that our standards have dropped. Also I think they made deals with American companies and knowing what I know that is even more worrying. Although we've had a small garden for 40years, it's only within about the last 20years that we've tried to grow a few things. We're not great at it and haven't got a lot of time to put into it but it is so rewarding going out to pick a tomato or a few strawberries to eat straightaway. This year we have a few runner beans and tomato plants and I'm looking forward to eating those. We also have a few herbs like mint, sage, rosemary and thyme. We have never used sprays and have always just hoped for the best. One neighbour planted a fig tree about 20years ago, although she doesn't live in that house now, the next door neighbour reaps the benefits as half of it hangs in her garden. She hadn't even tried them until about 5years ago, I asked her if she'd tasted them and how sweet they were. Now every year we have more than we can manage to eat, cos we all share what we have. It's such a nice thing to do amongst ourselves. Watching you with Penny makes me want to see what I can grow through the autumn and winter now. Thanks for the lovely vlog.xxx

  3. I can get away without a kundalini
I can be perfectly happy in my own little corner, growing my own food, taking care of my animals
Not doing that at the moment but looking forward to
And I believe is a matter of time.

I can go without knowing what other people are thinking and feeling, thank you very much!

  4. Please keep talking! Your best video yet. I’m thank you for having the guts to say this. PLEASE keep this conversation goingπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»β™₯️β™₯️

  5. My local supermarket's organic produce department keeps expanding because of demand. We have a farmers market every Sunday, but if I miss the 10am-2pm window, I have to go to the supermarket. Another 'trap' is the supermarket bakery. Just because items are baked in-store doesn't mean they are good. They use commercial mixes. I always read labels. If it's a 2" block of solid, tiny text you don't need to read it because it's mostly chemicals. I bake and I have yet to see a recipe with more than a dozen ingredients.

  6. Dr. Joel Wallach believes the widespread use of electricity, which meant no wood burning for heating and cooking, led to the depletion of minerals in the soil. Wood ash is a rich source of minerals and people used to sweep out their fireplaces and dump the ashes in their gardens as fertilizer.

  7. Good video, and I agree with a lot of what has been said here. I do think, however, the obesity issue is not simply due to people not eating good, wholesome REAL food, it's also due to marketing & social activities… 99% of the overweight people I know (and that's a LOT of people), choose to eat highly palatable refined foods in large portions. They're not usually eating out of hunger, they're consuming a lot because it tastes good – and many times, even though they're often full. In the 50s, the Joy of Cooking's serving for macaroni & cheese was a 1/3 of what the newer version is today. The same thing in the 70s when I worked at McDonald's – a large fry was smaller than what the small fry is now. So many folks buy their food out at restaurants or pre-packaged all the time… they want vegetables- great – but they're often sauteed and swimming in 1/4 cup of oil (good oil or bad oil, 1/4 cup is too much)… Want a salad – great it's got sugar-laden Craisins & candied nuts on top – not to mention another 1/4 cup of oil in the dressing (not to mention more sugar in it). It's become the social norm to have highly processed, large portions of food-like substances. There ARE indeed wonderful, healthy options, but they're not considered FUN in most social circles.

  8. I believe we still need to claim Jesus Christ πŸ™ as our Lord and Savior, and to acknowledge him as our source of ALL wisdom and Truth. I will never believe in codellini for wisdom, intelligence or intuition. Innate wisdom and intelligence truly comes from God. The source, the summit, the Almighty. Christ the King, my All. My Lord and Savior. Who makes those vegetables πŸ₯¦ grow and the garden . With the help of the Sun. 🌞 Please don't settle for less, or this New Age nonsense. It's not authentic or genuine. I know I want the real thing…..🌞

  9. You have to educate yourself, and look for the bad additives. Look for certified organic foods. All the diet, saccharine, glucose, stevia, etc. Are not good! I have a Whole Foods, and other grocery stores that offer healthy foods. I think it’s educating people. Thank you for the video.

  10. Great video today, Kimberly πŸ‘πŸ˜ Good for you…..we are literally starving for nutrition,,,,,, NOT 🚫 empty calories,,,,, and then we wonder why we gain weight. Eat good and it'll take care of itself. The good Lord provides it naturally. Grow our own garden, if possible. 🌞

  11. I believe she's speaking of or referring to the studies and work done by Westin A. Price,,,who first discussed the depleted souls of minerals etc and the state of our teeth. Deplorable. We have many vitamin and mineral depletion from our soils. Do Not Buy any thing that claims to be "food" from a grocery store. Do not buy or eat anything that is pseudo prepared prepackaged prefabricated pseudo foods. Join a farmers market or fresh food community sponsored co-op, or a local CSA. Eat real, fresh, whole, live foods. Fresh vegetables πŸ₯¦ πŸ₯— and fruits without pesticides and herbicides sprayed on them. Our lives, health and vitality depend on it !!!!! And that of our families…..🌞😁
