Hey Jeff congratulations on the tournament. Quick ? Why do you still play on acr ? I know ur a sponsored pro but just hear so many bad things about it and ur in Vegas with so many options. I was just curious.
I won a similar $500 buy-in event $250k guarantee back in November. $45k up top. I felt like the appropriate tip was $600. 2nd took just under $30k and he tipped $360. Considering the frequency of how often it is to take one of these down, 1.5% of a big prize sounds very fair to me. With the other players, it adds up for the dealers.
I would only tip, on the sly, the dealers who kept the game "straight" in Talking Stick (Phoenix/Scottsdale area) that probably be 1 in every 5-6 dealers! Their poker room management never takes the time to educated new dealers, or refresh the older ones. After they got rid of the room manager and the floor manager a few years back for stealing money from the players (they had two extra chip add-ons if 115 (a) $5.00 for the dealers, 1000 chips (b) $20.00 for 10,000 chips; which everybody didn't add on the 10,000. everyone got the $5.00 add-on, so everyone knew it, but no one could count how many $20.00 add on's were taken then KEN ODEKIRK manager, and DAVE SMITH floor manager, would go into the back office, the only place w/o cameras, and take whatever, likely $2-300 per day on those 120+ entries!
How much would you tip if you won a poker tournament for $49,605 after investing $1,000?
1. $0
2. $500
3. $605
4. $1,000
5. $1,000+
Boski, how do you play on acr on an ipad?!?
What a video!!
