  1. MasterCard is wasting their breath. As someone who lives in Colorado, I can tell you that you can't use a debit card or credit card for marijuana purchases anyway. The few places that do accept cards run the card as an ATM withdraw and not a direct purchase. You can only pay cash in Colorado. MasterCard doesn't know what you're spending your cash on once you withdraw it from the ATM. Therefore, as I stated, they're wasting their time. The more rules that MasterCard tries to make, the more dispensaries will find a way around them.

Personally i dont smoke and my mind hasnt been made up on it good or bad BUT….a debit card is your personal funds and it should never be the decision of a financial company what or where you spend your personal funds. When will your personal freedom be violated enough that change is not only needed but demanded.
