Tension grows as NC lawmakers discuss allowing medical marijuana

1. My dad died of ALS. He needed it.
   My mom has multiple sclerosis. She needs it.
   I have severe Tourette’s syndrome. I need it.

   It’s the only thing that can help my Tourette’s that doesn’t alter my brain chemistry permanently.
