  1. My dog is 13 years old and has pituitary and adrenal cushings. He also has a slightly enlarged heart and fluid. He takes lasix and a ace inhibitor. The vet put him on trilostane for Cushing but it has a bad reputation of causing adrenal crisis in dogs. My dog has very high liver enzymes Alp.I have been giving him around 38mg CBD daily for two months. His liver enzymes have been high for an about two years, they are so high the machine can’t read them. I asked my vet could I keep giving him the CBD and he said that he didn’t know. He really wasn’t much help. I don’t think CBD caused any problems with his liver because the problem was there before he started taking it. He takes it for his cushings, because I’m scared to start the prescription meds because of the side effects. My question is, do you think his liver can process the CBD or could it cause the enzymes to go higher because they were high to begin with. Thank you.
