  2. So, pouring the water over it into the butter mixture releases more of the fats and after it cools it separates from the oil and the oil can be skimmed off and refrigerated. Right? Just checking. Don't want to dilute my cannabutter.

Many instructional videos are 3/4 of other things ( why someone takes medicinal cannabis, why they take it and decided to make a video ) IMHO, blah blah blah! If someone is looking to infuse, they know this info. Again, many thanks.

  4. The final step with the boiling water is genius! I've always fretted about the leftover butter that's "soaked" in the plant material. Thanks! And yes, I agree that adding water makes a better tasting final product.
