  1. Why are people having to die when the municipal officers and housing minister are fully aware of the situation. They should be confiscating these buildings and renovating them for proper settlement. Why are there shanty towns within these buildings? Get rid of them as they are illegal anyway. How can NGOs have so much power? Do your jobs and stop blaming foreigners for everything.

  2. The City Speaker lady was on some Plato slash Garvey high mental state ish when he spoke about the need to develop "a world class African citizen who behaves in a civil manner", this is long overdue talk and we need to start opening our eyes as black South Africans to the reality that foreigners come to our country and do as they please because we teach them that in this country you can do as you please. The State is the people and we the people have to evolve and start behaving in manner that resembles the State we wish to build.

  3. More evidence of Lazy Government….treating poor black people like animals. When you allow or promote inhuman living conditions among your citizens….this the result you get.

  4. The whole africa is in johannesburg cbc, all African nationalities and many of which do not have documentation to be in the country. These illegal immigrants is supported by the NGOs and media. The media told the world that South Africans are xenophobic when they were complaining about illegal foreigners. NGOs take government to courts whenever government try to deal with illegal immigrants. All these statements above are xenophobic according to the media and I can be taken to court because I am uncivilised. This was disaster waiting to happen and more is coming. They plunder underground petrol pipes, railways, electrical cables. They bring drugs and guns in the country. They competes with South Africans for the work that doesn’t require skill. They come and open mines and have squeezed SA citizens in those communities. I am sure the courts may find my statement xenophobic and I may be ordered to pay a fine. This country is in a serious trouble. Some of these illegal foreigners are hardened criminals who ran away
From the law. They are heavily armed and are bringing dangerous weapons. That’s why we had random shooting of South Africans in soweto. They are ready to retaliate and push the country to a corner. Soon, this country will no longer be able to control them. Soon this country will have to release military to deal with their rebellion. Soon they will start sabotaging this country.

  5. Then change legislation, stop being political..!!! Being slow is now more an excuse. Be honest with yourself, U failed …..next year is elections. Politicians are eating this UP currently. Yoh HOW IN COMPETENT YOU ARE. Discussing 🤢🤮🤮😱🙉🙊🙈😡

  6. This is an example of a journalist who is an educated fool doing the reporting why not do a story about what is going to happen subsequently to the rest of other hijacked building by foreign nationals who are not willing to take responsibility of their own actions the new that those building were condemned and uninhabitable she should do a report on the conditions of these buildings and the loom disaster and danger they are presenting.

  7. Hijacked buildings are another Zaman Zama, and irony both situations are fighting back and are killing their abusers, mines killed zamazamas by gas and buildings are killing their occupants by fire, universe does not play people, it us tired ,let's respect laws otherwise nature will fight back

  8. The journalist is overwhelmed and not accustomed to work under pressure in an unscripted situation. Trying to drive a narrative live is risky and just exposed her poor journalistic skills and lack of general knowledge on current affairs.
