  1. Hey , so my dog is a 3 year old cane Corso female and she is very social and gets bored really easy if I'm not showing her enough attention, but I've noticed when ever I'm not interacting with her and she is just chilling on the ground while I'm on the game or on the bed watching TV that she will continuously bite the air like she is trying to catch something or to just move her mouth and play with her mouth like we do for hours every day . I'm not sure what's the issue but I only notice it when there's not much going on and she's not doing anything or me as well . Just wanted to maybe understand why they do this or why her I'm particularly might be doing this

  2. My 8 months border doodle start that really bad 2 months ago , but looking to a video that i made when we came home after getting her , she was biting snow (it probably start there at 3 months) we taugh it was funny but i can tell you actually its nightmare , she doing that almost 8 hours a day if we dont giver her a pil. Its so sad , dont know what do to do?

  3. Our male Cairn Terrier began these when he was 6.5 years old. He had an abscessed tooth at the time and the vet had him on anitibiotics before the tooth was extracted. Total he was on antibiotics over 6 weeks. I didn't particularly like that but am not a vet. He was ok for a bit after the tooth was out but has an episode every evening around the same time 9:30is P.M. Before the tooth extraction they were bad but shorter now. He always sought a cool place in the house at first but now just stays on the couch. The vet said they don't treat those fly biting seizures. He is excitable and watches TV intently , screaming at any animals, cartoons, running people, many things. Maybe he gets over stimulated by the TV. Any suggestions welcomed.

  4. Our Heeler mix has just started this, I did get down on his level to see if it was a light beam of dust, or something. I didn’t see anything. This is the 2nd time I observed it,both times he had been just sitting. He is of course a fur baby that requires lots of exercise.

  5. Fly biting seizures are basically a partial seizure that’s happening in a small part of the frontal part of the brain. It causes the dog to for lack of a better term… hallucinate. Most of these type of seizures occur from tumors, trauma or gastrointestinal issues but I’ve seen it happen when a dog becomes over stimulated or if a dogs in intense pain from teething as well. Hope your pup is well

  6. Our dog has started with episodes of these seizures and I'm so worried. If anyone has any advice who is further down the line regarding management or how it might impact them long term I would love to hear. Thank you

  7. My dog had this start happening to him as well. Vet said she thinks he has epilepsy. I managed to get two videos of two separate episodes while he was in the dog daycare yard I work at. Its terrifying.

  8. My Alsatian not sure they think doberman is 5 yrs old,we rescued him at 18 months old started having mal seizures at 2 yrs old had brain scans they were fine on medication for seizures which are every four weeks can have upto twenty a day loses control of his balance and vision after this can last upto two weeks at a time normally he is his old self after very loving and gentle but three months ago started fly biting excessive licking and now sexual behaviour with pillows and snapping at me he fly bites when just chilling on the sofa had lots of dogs and he’s the first to do this we have another dog with whom he gets on great it’s breaking my heart to see him like this do you think they are in pain our vet says no but sometimes he just looks so sad I don’t want to put him to sleep he’s my baby but if he’s suffering silently I know I must do what is kinder for him

  9. Just got home from the vet. They said seizure and I thought Dozer was just seeing floaters in his eyes. I was so confused… Seizures?! It has been frequent. 😞 I can't believe it. I had no idea.

  10. Hey, thanks for this video. Our Boston has done the exact same thing, pretty much exactly as you have explained. I know each case is slightly different, but just wondering what the outcome of the tests were and if your vet made any recommendations? Hope all is well now!
