  1. Hi Kimberly, I enjoy your Channel and watch quite often. I moved to The Villages May 19, 2023, after watching many YouTube videos, educating myself and researching Amenities fees, CDD, Bond, property taxes, etc. I stumbled across your video interview with Rusty Nelson and began following PrettyOverFifty.

I just placed an order for Lions Mane from Birch Boys and cannot wait to try it. It was Sold Out when I attempted to order after watching PrettyOverFifty on that Sunday morning.

Thank you for all of the helpful information you share. Maybe I will see you out and about as I enjoy my new Chapter of Life, living in this Paradise called The Villages. God Bless.

  3. Lions mane is great for adhd. It worked for me for a couple months. I donā€™t remember why I stopped using it. Increasing my it D has helped me more than lions mane šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

  4. Canā€™t believe you donā€™t wear glovesšŸ˜³šŸ˜³šŸ˜³. Im allergic to potting soilā€¦my hands gets itchy and break into tiny itchy blistersā€¦which is bad since Iā€™m a plant lady!

  5. You have convinced me on the Lions Mane. I just ordered it and hope it works! Iā€™m 69 and find that I have to really think hard about names of things. It eventually comes to me but itā€™s concerning. I used your code and thank you. Hereā€™s hoping for that improvement. I will let you know.

  6. Been in St Pete, Florida since last December. It's been interesting seeing what plants work for the yard. Thanks for putting flowers on my radar.

  7. Hi Kimberly, Iā€™ve gone to the link you provided to sign up for the Sunday email newspaper, and I cannot find how to sign up. Iā€™m sure Iā€™m just overlooking it but Iā€™ve tried twice now and I could use some help. Thank you so much, Internet challenged Gina

  8. Love your authenticity ~ finishing with your dirt covered hands and rosy cheeks from the gardening! While Lucy helped, Dex was overseeing from the birdcage – just love it and love you! Thank you for sharing!

  9. Motivation is a lie – itā€™s discipline. Just do what you need to do. šŸ’• movement is the single most important thing you can do. Find something you enjoy and just do it and keep moving. Thereā€™s no secret, no shortcut.

  10. Hi Kimberly, I can understand exactly how you feel about your fitness plan. Unlike you, I never exercised and worked in an office doing a lot of sitting. So you can imagine what happened. Well, at the age of 69 I finally got tired of hurting because I felt like the tin man. I found a place where a physical therapist taught me how to start with weight training. I mean I was starting to rock to be able to get up off the sofa. This wonderful woman taught me what to do how to do and how much to do. For someone at the age of 69, Iā€™m here to tell you itā€™s NEVER too late to start. I feel 10 years younger and actually look forward to going. My only regret is that I didnā€™t start earlier in my life.

  11. I love my Lion's Mane. I don't think it taste bad at all. I take my 4ml straight. I purchased the 16Fl oz when it was the monthly discount. I take mine in the afternoon.

  12. Hi Kimberly, I grew up in South Lake Tahoe, CA. South Tahoe High Class of 1977 here.
I live in the bay area now and try to visit Tahoe as much as possible. Happy to hear you are active. I have to get my exercise in the am or I know I won't do it. I have Ulcerative Colitis (an autoimmune disease) so, I can only do low impact cardio about 20 min daily. I also lift weights 4 days a week and that has made the biggest improvement with my appearance and health.

  13. Just saw the coolest Dahlia video on Up To Something channel. Dahlia Tour at Bayard. Loving your container gardening! I bought some but havenā€™t gone for the dirt yet.

  14. Beginners don't need a gym. You can exercise at home with dumbbells and ankle weights or just body weight exercises on youtube. Warm up for your workout by briskly walking outside for 15-30 min. I try to walk daily to get vitamin D and fresh air and look at the neighbors' gardens. Never work the same muscle two days in a row. Muscles grow when resting. When people go to the gym everyday they are usually working upper body one day and lower body the next. Or doing weights one day and gentle stretching yoga the next. Videofitness forum is a great resource with older home exercisers.

  15. The flowers are going to be spectacular! I don't know how Lisa accomplished half of what she does, which is a lot. Don't you wish the flower's would grow faster? LOL

  16. Thank you for your honesty about your fitness journey, it helps me in my understanding why I canā€™t quite get going yet. There always seems to be something else in my family that needs attending to first. Perhaps Iā€™m kidding myself šŸ˜…. ā¤

  17. Great job on the garden! I thought about you during last weeks storm. Tropical storm here too. So now you've experienced your first hurricane! (They're generally not too bad in Central Florida). I look forward to seeing the flowers!
