Cannabis was used up until 1934 very successfully and given to children to help them sleep and for appetite as cannabis sativa pills.. Doctors are reading from the Drug company prescribing manual (not using their own brains and experience) .. profits come before health.. we should change the phrase "save the planet" and make it "save the people" the planet will be fine! it has been through worse than us and its fine now.. the people are f&*ked.. George Carlin
More Doctors need to be educating themselves and keep up with the research. Medical users like myself are talking to local dispensaries because many doctors are clueless and not up to date. Some of the best advice I have been given has come from my local dispensary and it has helped my chronic arthritis and back pain.
My medical provider almost killed me ! more than one of themπππππ I'm disabled now . because , I listened to my medical provider πΏ no thank you β οΈ I'm safer with natureπ
I made a full recovery from a stroke at 24 due to the consciousness altering and pain management properties marijuana has. I owe the plant my life. Dispensaries are only telling other people word of mouth information chronically ill patients have known for decades and we shouldn't be gatekept anymore. From dispensaries either. I'm now growing in my own home because I can't afford it in the long run on my social security as the government had monopolized the industry too now that it's legal in my state.
Cannabis helps numb and tone down the pain that is occurring in the human body. It must have something to do with the cannabinoids and the central nervous systems that cannabis helps reduce inflammation and pain signals in the body
You know, fuck doctors, they don't know shit. Why should they get a say, half of them couldn't give a shit. What makes them an authority on marijuana, nothing, absolutely nothing. Do what you need, fuck everyone else.
Take the fucking opioids as prescribed and you wouldnβt need a refill every 3 days forcing your Dr to cut you off and ultimately leading you to the street alternatives. Thank you junkies for fucking up people that respect what opioids can do and can no longer relieve chronic pain without unnecessary surgery.
Yeah I get it. Marijuana can and does relieve pain. That doesnβt help the people that canβt use it because they work in a fucking job that caused the pain and will get fired for testing positive for THC.
Jacquelyn Bainbridge is a special kind of stupid! The research is already out there if she bothered to look at it! Opioids kill thousands of people every year and yet they continue to push them on behalf of big pharma!
Cannabis does help pain but unfortunately it is still frowned uponand viewed as a hard drug or gateway drug which is a bunch of b******I suffer from intense shoulder pain and chronic lower back pain that keeps me up at night but when I wake up in the middle of the night and smoke a little bit of cannabis it relieves my pain automatically and I can get some sleep…. Unfortunately, the government wants to make it hard and make people feel uncomfortable about using cannabis but doctors no longer want to prescribe any kind of medicine that helps with pain without jumping through a bunch of hoops I say f** the government and if you want to use cannabis use it because it's not addictive and it will not kill you and it does provide pain relief and anxiety relief for a lot of people
For some patients or people – cannabis is a better or the best medicine or product you could possibly give them for treating their illness or illnesses. Less pharmacuticals and more cannabis prescribing would be good. After all – the patient should be the one who decides what medicine they want to be treated with in the end – and if they want cannabis over pharmacuticals they shouldn't be denied it.
I occasionally get opiate prescriptions for pain I'm also a medical marijuana patient I found out that they work very well together but not so well apart unless I use so much marijuana that I can't stand on my feet
Cannabis helps with pain but not only my pain needs meds I tried believe me I live Michigan itβs recreational passed here but I canβt use it because of drug test
This is most interesting and I agree that more research and clinical trials are needed to determine its place in the treatment of pain, especially chronic pain.
Doctors know jack shit about weed.
Smoke it, do u feel better. If yes smoke more!
Youβre welcome.
Weed isn't morphine but is great for pain in 7 and below pain
Drug companies can just put it in a pill

Smart people do not overdose on opioids, but can still become quite physically dependent. I hope marijuana is a viable alternative….
