  1. Crap weed. More small businesses robed to support their crap weed habit.more shoplifters. Crap weed user most don't work.they rob others to support their habit. Small businesses lock and load.police get ready for a lot of crap.but office you can't charge me for killing that couple in the other car I was on legal weed.

  2. They could change it. It would be political SUICIDE, but yeah they could. We the people, spoke, loudly. Don't make us speak about you, speaking against OUR WILL. Medical is only needed for insurance issues now. Basically they are saying, We WANT MORE OF YOUR MONEY. It's clear as day what "THEY" are saying.

  3. Take Michigan and copy paste. These people worried about what will happen should chill. We are already smoking and doing everything around you anyways. Just means money will be spent in Ohio instead of going elsewhere.

  4. The real reason the state of Ohio and Police are against Marijuana is because this will limit their ability to create revenue from traffic stops for simple possession. Additionally, the state is trying to figure out how to control and tax — pure greed. No taxation without representation should still be a thing. The government mismanages the tax revenues they have and need to stay out of this new venture that could support the citizens of Ohio through road improvement and other benefits to society.

Many news, police and politicians push the anti-marijuana rhetoric of the 1950's. Most reporters say we haven't been able to study marijuana but in reality there are 23 states legal with their own data, numerous colleges and corporations spending millions to study for the last decade or more. Why does the news always emphasize the bad but never take 10 minutes to research for themselves to identify positive benefits–almost like the talking points are handed to them. The most blatant lie being pushed or fear mongering around marijuana use is that it will lead to accidents, crime, etc. Nearly Every state that has legalized marijuana has not seen an uptick in deaths or crime directly related to recreational adult use.

Why is Ohio last to everything? Why aren't we looking at the 23 other states who have legalized marijuana for adult use and taking their legal framework as an example? We need to learn that fear mongering and placing high tax is not the correct strategy to realizing our states potential via adult use legalization.

  5. Crazy that politicians have the audacity to say they will change the law AFTER the citizens vote for what they want. Why do politicians get to impose fascist laws on us? Straight up tyranny. During COVID we had laws placed on us by politicians and media pundits "in our best interest" despite not being based on fact or science. Today they apologize and say they were trying to help. Here we are again with marijuana — you don't have direct negative impacts on health and you don't have easy access for minors. Just like a bar, children/minors can't just enter a dispensary and purchase marijuana. All the arguments they use are strange circumstances referencing driving or a child using — why are we looking at a small percentage of negative outcomes versus the calmative benefit as a whole for everyone? Those against or politicians trying to embrace control need to study from other states (23 of them legal) and their colleagues in those states to see how the plant has benefitted their state. If you choose to drive under any influence you'll face consequences. Don't place consequences on us all for the actions of a small portion of the population. How many DUI arrests each year divided by the Ohio population? Less than 1% just like covid deaths — so don't demonize us all for the actions or negative outcomes of a small portion of our society.

  6. Brian Steel can look at the data in other states for that issue. Auto accidents go down after cannabis legalization. This demonstrates how law enforcement in Ohio will lie about cannabis after it's the law.

  7. :::((({{__::Legalize cannabis federally within each and every state. This way, irrational prohibitionist politicians can't obstruct and prevent legalization against the will of the vast majority of Americans whom support full federal cannabis legalization nationwide. Treat cannabis exactly like we treat far more dangerous and deadly yet perfectly legal alcohol. Legal in all states.____}}}}}___""":::

  9. caffeine is more addictive than thc is. if "health" was ever an issue itd have been legalized the whole time so people could go to a store or grow their own without worry of dealing with a plug or helicopters flying over.

  10. The cops at losing their cash cow and they don't like it lol. Politicians gonna regulate tch levels. What a job. Go ahead and make legal weed trash compared to black market weed thats already here. Idiots

  11. All freedom lovers especially those who enjoy cannabis products, should exercise your 2nd Amendment Civic Duty & don't let politicians or cops deprive you of your rights. If you're a cop, don't enforce laws that the people have constitutionally invalidated, focus on REAL crime such as murders, thefts, rape, etc. I don't smoke, never liked it, but all adults over 18+ should have the right to smoke, drink or gamble as long as they're not driving or harming anyone else. I use CBD with low THC for anxiety and it works. I order it from British Columbia and get it delivered by Postes Canada to my home in Montreal. Legalize and tax weed, it's the only tax most consumers are happy to pay.

  12. Trying to put limits on THC only shows how little these people understand about Cannabis! That does not really tell you how powerful/how high the weed will get you. Sell me flower with 20% THC and 5% Terpenes and it can smoke way "harder" then something with 28-30+% THC and 1% or less on Terpenes.

  13. Here's what I see happening. They will ease up on medical. It'll be easier to get the card and a prescription for simpler things. And more drs will be licensed to prescribe it. You have back pain or migraines or something simpler here's a prescription for a couple days supply with 2 refills on the bottle. And instructions to take as needed. Just like any other prescription you get.
