  1. What very few of you seem to really grasp, including the one guy in the video, is every human being is different! What works for One, may not work for another. Drugs, no matter what kind, can have a different effect on everyone! Drug withdrawal is not Exactly the same for everyone! We are not clones of each other! It amazes me how much of our society cannot seem to wrap their minds around this concept! I donā€™t understand why we human beings, compare ourselves so much! Sadly, one of the places Iā€™ve heard at the most, is in the medical field! I think as human beings, we tend to think that everyone should be like us, or everyone is Just like us. This is why it can be dangerous to promote this as a answer for everyone. For some people, complete abstinence from all substances is the only way theyā€™re ever going to get and stay sober, or clean. For others, this may work. Yet, I would not advocate for long-term use of marijuana. It still affects the brain, and itā€™s still a substance that for some, can lead back to hard drugs. Iā€™ve known plenty of people who started smoking pot and progressed to hard drugs. And they tell me it is definitely a gateway drug for them. Again, I cannot reiterate enough, human beings are individuals, created differently and uniquely! If we start approaching treatment based onThat truth, perhaps there will be more success in treating those with addictions!

  2. Itā€™s too bad that the other gentleman didnā€™t get to finish speaking what he wanted to say! Possibly, this might be a good approachFor people who have extreme addiction to hard drugs. Yet, I think only if they have a plan to eventually ween them off of marijuana at some point. It sure might beat methadone! Iā€™ve seen many drug users just using that as another way to get high. Going day after day to the methadone clinics. And a lot of them still using heroin as well. Also, one of the problems I have with it, is that I have known and seen so many drug addicts and alcoholics that smoke pot as well. A lot of them started out by smoking pot. Iā€™m concerned, especially from what a lot of them have told me, that it would be a gateway to take them right back to the hard addictions! Itā€™s too bad that with all of the information thatā€™s out there concerning drugs, and alcohol, that people still Play roulette with their lives and start in the first place!

  3. Not gonna lie the main reason why I haven't been in AA, like I should be is because ppl are so Gung ho about not smoking weed. They kept telling me that im not sober and I should get done, because of weed…I am a alcoholic, porn addiction, and now a new meth addict. I haven't even used a full year and meth has wrecked me. So to the AA nazis, fuck off imma smoke my weed and not drink or smoke meth. I talked to a sponsor and told him I came off a meth binge, he didn't even care and jumped on me for smoking weed, even though I told him beer and porn helped me start the vicious cycle again. I took like 2 hits of a joint when I was on that binge, not wanting it because I wanted meth. Weed= safe and good. Beer and meth= death.

  4. They can have all the studies they want. One thing everybody know, for a fact is, ainā€™t nobody ever been overdose in the hospital about to die on marijuana thatā€™s the one thing thatā€™s out there that they call a drug that has never killed anybody we know for a fact, alcohol has killed people opioids have killed people prescription drugs have killed people crack cocaine have killed people cocaine have killed people how Reyo have killed people so how can this doctor sit up here and say I want people to be productive one thing we know for a fact smoking we will not have you in the ER overdose he shaking, needing a pin to bring you back to life

  5. Been smoking for 7 years now, i know i am addicted , but i do have a productive life, good relations, Depends on how much you can unferstsnd yourself, Let yourself be the sheer focus. Maintain a good routine,Eat , Workout and sleep good. Enjoy the process. 4:40 4:40

  6. I can tell you, it does not suit me but it does very well for some. People with trauma find cannabis very helpful.
Most drug addicts have trauma and I can tell you that weed use is very calming and helpful for many people.
Itā€™s not for me but it works for others.

  7. They need to start having people try cannabis over methadone and subs. Maybe use them for the first week just for detox but not as a substitute to street opiates. (Not hating on anyone on those either)

  8. A "dependence" can be on anything. People get dependent on all kinds of medications, there is no such thing as "marijuana addiction", it's like saying someone is addicted to Tylenol like it's not that it couldn't happen but it's an irrelevant concept most of the time , something that doesn't happen.

  9. Marijuana may not have a lethal dose (although I do wonder what would happen if someone binged on strong edibles for an hour while watching a movie), but it does increase the risk for heart attacks. Just speaking the truth. And I completely support the legalization. I smoked it for about 25 years, and I don't regret that.

  10. I should say we should legalize it picked up me off our mouth But my wife wasn't much lucky But she was trying to get off of Heroin Using cannabis and it was helping her But she died in the process due to other reasons When you get out of here we have one and to come home to a legalized state of course It was helping her in rehab But she got out because she didn't have access to it it should be legalized in all 50 States Because it should be classified it's a supplement for food because it's grown like food it's grown like lettuce So what's this count is the supplement and call equipment legal eyes at all Because it does help out drug addicts

  11. I would like to replace heroin with marijuana but the problem was that after smoking weed I felt guilty and fear you know..I know heroin is much more destructive but still I feel like smoking heroin is better.. please help me to differentiate this reality..

  12. If you have a family history of Schizophrenia, Bipolar, dementia, Alzheimer's disorders Mariguana is bad for you period! How do I know? Because my brother has a history of Bipolar desease and weed has destroyed his life. He can't think straight, is impulsive, has a hard time reasoning, problem solving. He works but is homeless living out of his truck even though he makes 60k a year for the last 8 years. He blows his money in junk cars, pays for prostitutes, does not pay for child support, refuses to pay rent of any kind and we think he dies cocaine every now and then. His friends are drug dealers or people who do drugs. Never helps out the family but is always looking for a handout. He is almost 50 and we are sick and tired of him!

  13. I have ADHD, chronic anxiety and depression and OCD and I ruined my life with a myriad of drugs. The worst being alcohol. Only somebody that is alcohol free can look at the consumption of it as utterly disgusting like I do. The odd occasion, sure, but the fact that people drink themselves to sleep every night just scares me.

Cannabis replaced alcohol, it replaced my SSRIs, it allowed me to lower my dosage of ADHD meds and I have never worked harder in my life since I started taking medicinal cannabis. My job is physical (I probably walk 30ks a day just at work), I go to the gym, I save MONEY – oh my god the feeling of having actual savings – And I do all of this stoned my friends.
If youā€™re like me then you likely suffer from some kind of trauma and itā€™s my belief that weed is the best bet we have in the fight against personal psychological trauma. And if anyone were to ever try and take that away from me, Iā€™d bet my life there are millions of people out there that agree when I say Iā€™d go to war for that right.
Donā€™t drink, it slows you down.
    Aim higher.

  14. I was addicted to opiods in newyork city for 4 years back when i was in newyork! Marijuana is very helpful and has helped me stay sober for 5 years now alongside other opiod antagonist that are prescribed to keep one away from overdosing. Wake up america , people are dying left and right and you are playing into the pharmaā€™s monopoly!

  15. i havent smoked weed in 5 years but i have been smoking cigarettes for 15 years and i cant quit and they make me feel like shit. i should get back on weed. i smoke 50 cigarettes daily. if i was smoking weed i would be smoking 3 joints daily.

  16. yes.. I am a beliver in the use of herbs to treat this addiction.. but.. very controled..and it is usually best to do this with supervision.. the thing is. detoxing is one thing.. dealing with the emotional.. pycological side of addiction is a different matter.. attitude… behaviours. identities .. mindsets.. visions..purpose exc. all need to be worked on.. I would live to see a detox..rehab..with a work program to grow and eat a raw food diet.. to change the gut bacteria..and overcome the addiction to the foods we eat.. well.. I shouldn't call them foods.. but tea and coffee. sugar..salt are very addictive.. and the full feeling we get from eating these foods is addicting.

  17. It wasn't until I was denied a right to "relax" in the evening by my employment…..and then I got hurt….that prescription meds became a problem for me. The sheer fact that men with guns will come lock you in a cage for smoking a plant….while there's a store that sells liquid death on every corner in America…..that absolutely infuriates me. It is cause enough to "make" changes in this country. I have never been a cynic in my life….but I see what people mean when they say "follow the money". It is ABSOLUTELY TRUE in this case. I'm usually not a fan of liberal states in this country….but they have it right on their cannabis laws now.
