  1. For me it’s all mental. The first two weeks were not good but I kept myself busy with friends, exercise, bjj. I almost relapsed a couple times at the beginning because I was thinking what the fuck is this even for. I just wanted to prove to myself that I can stop or start whenever I want/need to. I’m now 6 months clean and when I do go back to toking it definitely won’t be a daily thing anymore. The vivid dreams still bother me a lot.

  2. I took a one month tolerance break just before my senior year, but the only reason I was able to do it was because I was visiting family in Las Vegas and at the time weed was still highly illegal. I also knew nobody but my family, so I had no connections.

  3. What I do is I stopped smoking during the week, and now just smoke on the weekends. This way I give myself regular breaks, I enjoy it more. And it's gotten easier over time. It was hard at first. How do I do it? Well obviously I don't smoke while Im at work during the weekday, that takes up most of the day. In the evenings after work I take a sleep aid melatonin so that I can sleep and call it a day. You can do it roo.

  4. Smoking weed for recreational purposes shouldn’t be taking so much time out of your life. If tolerance becomes an issue, then maybe it’s time to reassess your life and figure out why it is you need to smoke so much. It’s an addictive substance, and some should definitely be very careful. Smoking should be an enjoyable experience, having a schedule around it sounds more like a burden. Good points though.

  5. Just do what I do man, stay sober during the day and smoke during the night. My gf smokes all day and everyday, she is high all day but BARELY, she is just trying to get through the day. I don't want to be like, that no point in getting high.

  6. I inadvertently am taking a break while traveling, kind of stumbled into it without intention and now that I'm here I'm kind of enjoying it. I'd completely forgotten how every night becomes an adventure of REM sleep intensity.

  7. I unfortunately have to take a three week tolerance break after smoking multiple times a day for almost two months straight. I also took a two month tolerance break before. I quit cold turkey.

  8. Tips: if you normally smoke before work, then the day before the tolerance break don’t smoke until the evening. The following day don’t do it at all. If you can take a tolerance break do it on a work day, or a day you know you’ll be out of the house for at least 8-10 hours. Then maybe you have an early bedtime that night. Or if going on a vacation to somewhere, then try leaving it behind and not pursuing it on the vacation.

If all else fails and you are jumping out of your skin enough to get sick, then go to a store and pick up some CBD. It won’t make you high but it’ll calm you down a little bit. Don’t get a cheap disposable vape, but a more expensive brand at a headshop if you can make it to a store like this.

Day 1 is the hardest, day 2 is slightly better, day 3 is pretty good, day 4 is great! After that it’s just getting over the fact that your mind will crave cannabis HEAVILY!

But trust me…that first session smoking again is fantastic, almost like you have never/hardly ever smoked. Just roll with it.

  9. The simplest and best way to switch to HHC there’s no THC in it and it still gets you pretty high smoke that for a few days rape it whatever and switch back to marijuana and you will be amazed
