  3. "In strict medical terms marijuana is far safer than many foods we commonly consume. For example, eating 10 raw potatoes can result in a toxic response. By comparison, it is physically impossible to eat enough marijuana to induce death. Marijuana in its natural form is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man."

    – Francis Young (Drug Enforcement Agency Judge – 1988)

"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marijuana in private for personal use…”

    – Jimmy Carter (U.S.President)

“Congress should definitely consider decriminalizing possession of marijuana… We should concentrate on prosecuting the rapists and burglars who are a menace to society.”

    – Dan Quayle (U.S. Representative & Vice President)

"Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could."

“The anti-marijuana campaign is a cancerous tissue of lies, undermining law enforcement, aggravating the drug problem, depriving the sick of needed help and suckering well intentioned conservatives and countless frightened parents.”

    – William F. Buckley Jr. (American conservative author & commentator)

"The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."

    – Dr. Carl Sagan (American Cosmologist, Astrobilologist, author & science communicator)

“You bet I did -— and I enjoyed it.” ….when asked if he had ever smoked marijuana.

    – Michael Bloomberg (New York City Mayor)

"Studies have consistently failed to establish the existence of a link between the harshness of a country’s drug laws and its levels of drug use."

    – Kofi Annan (U.N. Secretary General)

"Pot is a better drug than alcohol. I'll prove it to you. You're at a ball game or a concert, and someone's really violent and aggressive and obnoxious, are they drunk or are they smoking pot?"

“Why is pot against the law? It wouldn't be because anyone can grow it, and therefore you can't make a profit off it, would it?”

“…It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit … unnatural?”

-Bill Hicks (Satirist, Social Critic, Stand-Up Comedian)

"If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."

    – Terence McKenna (American ethnobotanist, author, advocate for responsible use of natural psychedelic plants)

  4. Mike Dewine is under the impression that legalizing weed will put drug dealers out of business……..NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! hasn't happened in any state where weed was legalized…….don't forget…Boehner is a weed guy and he loves Dewine now and is probably paying him some kickback money

  5. it's innovative, we'll see how it works out

get your medical permit or permit for recreational use from a certified reputable doctor! preferably your family practice doctor unless barring emergencies, if your family doctor won't sign off on a permit it's highly questionable you should be using such products! as well your family practice doctor should be notified if you are using a partial-narcotic for medical or recreational usage

  6. HE// NO!!!! 🤬 You buncha dumphux!! THIS is a money grab for government AND it's no phkn wonder why younger generations have BI-POLAR disorder, are out of touch with anxiety and so on. This is RUINING OUR NATION!
    Wake tf UP!! 🤬

  7. Bullshit. I am a medical marijuana patient and I dont want my medical business to be done in front of a mile long line. I dont hyave legs how can I wait in a mile long line. I cant afford a wheel chair so I have to pull myself around on the ground like a fish out of water. Now I have to do this embarrassing crawl in front of hundreds of others. isnt there a disabilities act that can protect me from this humiliation?

  8. Enabling Citizens to grow negatively impacts the Black Market… the opposite of their assertion. If that was an actual concern, when they opted for Medical, it wouldn't have been $70.00 a 10th… the Ohio 10th is a Nationwide joke. That alone was a gift to the Black Market. Permitting Citizens to grow 6 plants VS 12 plants will have an impact on those who are mindful of the Law. Much like firearms, the Laws negatively impact the Law Abiding, not the Lawless. Proof they are implemented to restrict and regulate, not punish actual criminals. Dealers/growers are growing now, have been for years, that's not going to change. These folks are concerned about tax revenue. The motivated will invest in growing… the associated taxes are far less than whats associated with purchasing the finished product. Need I say more? Well, other than, when in the past decade has legacy media been caught telling the turth regarding any matter of consequense?

  9. 15% tax on it? So you want people to keep buying from the black market it seems. And from 12 plants to 6, you guys are really something if you think youll be able to enforce that. What a bunch of idiots.
