A majority of republicans I know smoke and/or are not against legalizing marijuana so I find it surprising that all republicans vote no… I also find it surprising that everyone is cool with getting blackout drunk and physically impaired on a weekly bases but we draw the line at smoking a leaf that gets you a little high lol
Alcohol is 10x worse than weed…all of the people that said no to the bill are drunks behind closed doors. And to the argument of gummies, the same kid will be busting out some of dads cold ones with his buds when drunk daddy isn't looking, and the damage that comes from drunk kids are far worse than high ones.
nobody has ever said "thankfully the government is regulating cannabis!" It is ridiculous that there are even laws surrounding the plant, and disgusting government employees then get to create an income through extortion by calling it "taxes". The entire subject is shrouded in clown colors. States nationwide are only legalizing because they see the industry as a tax cash cow.
How many children have drunk their parents alcohol? I remember my parents laughing about how my sister and I got drunk on booze left on a table. Didn't seem to be such a problem.
1:15 The same thing has been said about prescription medicine, laundry detergent and more, and the solution is the same every time. We childproof it. Anyone leaving out pot candy anywhere a child has access to needs to be charged with child neglect.
