Why Smoking Weed is Actually Bad/Good For You

Smoking weed calms your nerves, but it also does damage to your lungs every time you inhale. Is smoking marijuana really that …

  1. I first started at 13. Did it every day until 19. I was paranoid, anxious etc. because of the bud.

I quit for 6 years, and started again at 25, because im hla b27 positive which means i have immune issues like psoriatic arthritis, and pharma meds weren't helping.

Low and behold, all the negative side affects from the past have stayed in the past. I don't get any downsides from bud nowadays. Helps me sleep, eat and put up with health issues that little bit easier.

So my point is, wait until your brain is fully formed, or at least don't do it daily while it hasn't.

  2. Weed really depends on what you use it for, you could be a lazy burn out if you stone yourself all the time without doing various activities, or also taking too much hits. Weed can help prevent anxiety, unless if you aren’t in the right mindset. But it is used to mellow or relax, or even focus. It can cure your loss of appetite as well. But there is risks to your lungs, so edibles are the most healthy, and strongest.

  3. Cannabis is a God send. I have had a severe chronic illness for 6 years (GI related) nothing has worked and without cannabis my pain is too much I can barely leave my room now I live a somewhat normal life. The drawback is lack of variety. I have done years of research of what strain works best for me but I am limited to the dispensaries and what they provide. One day I plan to grow and make my own so I can cultivate my perfect strain and hopefully live as normal of a life as possible with my condition. If God didn’t bless me with cannabis my life would be a fraction of what it is now.

  4. I’m convinced that the people making videos like this and offer up their opinions have never smoked before they only repeat what they heard from other people that heard it.

  5. DUUUUUDE! i had to quit smoking for a pre employment drug screen, and the crazy dreams (ALL BAD) and general irritation with people were the hardest part of quitting.
And the worst thing about smoking weed is PRE EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREENS. if you can quit any other drug for 3 days you got the job.. LAME!

  6. I smoke or vape cannabis on a daily basis. I smoke more consistently on weekends as my tolerance has become so much that I can smoke without feeling high as much as I dont feel the pain in my body. I have worked physically jobs since I was 18 and I am 31 now and I have to say that over the course of my life cannabis has been a good thing for me. However, I do wish there was a way I could afford to have the positive effects of cannabis without the negatives that come from smoking it. I live in oregon and as cheap as cannabis products are here the edibles and tinctures are prohibitively expensive and not often worth the price. As cannabis becomes more normalized I hope we find healthier ways to imbibe so we can all live better lives and say F pain and sleeplessness and anxiety and whatever the medicine will help with.

  7. I am a combat veteran, who had trouble sleeping and nightmares when I did. THC drops have helped me get to and stay asleep, as well as took away my nightmares. I realise that is personal, but for me, it has been very helpful. I do not use THC for anything else.

  8. I’ve been a chronic smoker for 4 years, I had tried it once or twice at 18 and it didn’t become a habit till I hit 22 (time of pandemic), up until today I’m 26yo. Weed started off as being my favourite past time at a time where I felt I was pretty lost. It made colours more vivid and made life seem more “pink” in my eyes. Weed started off fairly recreationally up until it wasn’t anymore. I had a psychosis last year when I combined weed with some stronger opioids and it wasn’t a pleasant sight. I couldn’t sleep and was very paranoid for over a week or so. Ever since I’ve tried to quit cold turkey and gradually yet nothing has proved fruitful for me so far. I now am married and my wife supports me going separate ways from the Za. It’s a work in progress but I’m still working on not giving into my cravings. My advice for those who are like me in that phase of just smoking occasionally: if you have an addictive personality, stay away from weed. Weed is the best drug to relax, have fun, get productive even but more so can be very addicting and hard to stop if you have the need to stop one day.

  9. There's side affects to taking any medication, some worse than others. You see the commercials advertising medications for different ailments, and at the end they start naming of side affects. "May cause this, that, and that." Some sound worse than the reason for taking the medication. I'd rather weed's side affects over the medication's side affects
