  1. not a single person in this entire comment section has any real knowledge about CHS so it doesn’t surprise me that 90% of them brag about smoking all day every day and not having any issues. I bet half of those people are dealing with the prodromal phase symptoms & don’t even realize it because they think their marijuana is some miracle drug with zero downsides. CHS is real and it’s not caused by any pesticides or bad growing. Do your fucking research. r/CHSinfo

  2. There are a lot of people in these comments misunderstanding how CHS presents itself and what it takes to develop it. I had it and it usually takes A LONG time and HEAVY cannabis use to develop. I mean like at least an ounce a week of top shelf flower in most cases or the equivalent in extracts. Most, me included, cite the emesis attacks as the single most painful and horrible illness they’ve experienced. There are stages to the condition, the first is when you’re perfectly fine, the second is called the prodromal phase, and the third is a hyperemesis attack. The second presents itself as morning nausea, acid reflux, and difficulty regulating body temperature. Hyperemesis presents itself as extreme abdominal pain and unrelenting vomiting, when I mean unrelenting I mean you will vomit until there is nothing left and will dry heave until you are screaming and vomiting. The only way to get out of the Hyperemesis stage is to go to the hospital and receive IV haloperidol or wait it out. The only at home remedy that people have found offers any comfort is scalding hot baths and showers or the application of capsaicin cream or a heating pad to your abdomen. People should seriously not take the condition lightly. Also not all people develop it, it’s believed to be genetic but nobody really knows because only a few studies have been done on small groups.

  3. Well yeah Cannabis is increasingly more potent than it ever was before. So why are people smoking SO MUCH of it for? Huh? I've been getting high every single day for the past 2 years and I don't have any CHS symptoms. Why? Because I take ONE FREAKING HIT and I'm STONED all day. Y'all people smoking too damn much of it and you don't need to. You can use everyday without getting CHS if don't go over 1 gram. Come on people never would I ever have thought that weed could be abused but people gonna find a way to abuse anything I guess. Use it like a medicine and it will be applying itself as such. Come on guys this is dumb.

  4. GMA fake news Wait What Slut & diversity hire crew lead with Barbie & WX like any other day of ads as news for Pizza Hut.
Nothing else to investigate except TikTok from abc HBCU grads.

  5. I've had CHS for about a year or more. I wish I had the privilege of being able to go to the hospital ER for 2 weeks when i have episodes. I keep seeing stories of people not knowing why they are violently vomiting, sweating, and heat irregularity. Have these people not any awareness? Have they not tried to quit weed before after a long heavy binge? I feel bad actually since she thought a doctro would know? LOL doctors don't know much about anything other than main stream pharma and what ever their specialty is. Just try getting a mental diagnosis, they just through pills at you and say see what work. Which is why i began to use weed regularly so hevily because pills are much more dangerous, and their withdrawals are much more extreme.

  6. you greened out stupid white chick just stop smoking and your fine if i went to the doc for every green out iv had id be broke from the medical bills what this tells me is that alot of snooty pricks are smoking now and freak out about every thing just like drinking it NOT for everyone

  7. "ER visits in Canada for CHS increased 7 fold from 2014 to 2021"………Uhhhhh, maybe weed being legalised halfway through that period had something to do with it? People who had no or limited access to and experience with cannabis suddenly had easy access to it and might have over indulged out of inexperience or the novelty of suddenly being able to injest Cannabis on the daily.

I bet a lot of the CHS is linked to edibles more than it is flower or vape.

  8. I was a heavy pot smoker, loved weed, but it started making me feel mildly not good for a few weeks, even just taking a puff here an there then it got so bad I was throwing up and dizzy everyday even after not smoking for days my body was aching I felt terrible. I started feeling better after a week of being sick and decided to smoke, two puffs and within minutes I felt so dizzy that I thought I was going to pass out
I couldn’t stand up I couldn’t stop throwing up my stomach hurt so bad it felt as bad as when I had labor pain, I felt like I was dying, that lasted a few hours, four days later I was still nauseous and sick and couldn’t get out of bed.
Worst experience. Never smoking again. I know it was linked to smoking weed because I was doing a lot better til I smoked that last time (and no I didn’t even get stoned thank god I only took two puffs)

  9. it’s happening more with people who are vaping too much. essentially you green out + much worse symptoms with any amount of THC consumption. i feel like it has to do with quality of product as well as quantity idk
