  1. Ah the gong bloody great fishing spots all round that area, I lived in Appin and used to work at Inghams chicken, every now and then use to go to the gong and fish it's a mad place 🤘🏽

  2. Lived in Bent street Warrawong, it was bad putting up with druggies, mentals in housing commission but then they shoved low risk crims into the housing. Time to leave for Queensland.

  3. those places in warrawong are bad, I used to instal satellite dishes on the rooves of those streets, it was bad then with crap everywhere but since ice its just got way worse. Berkley and mangerton arent so bad but the suicide units behind warrawong are pretty poor.

  4. Lived near Warrawong for 5 years, that was enough. Friend lived in Bent St flats where 100% unemployment resided, drugs run rife, Legoland just up the road. Some bloke was killed for his milk n bread walking back to bent st, my child saw someone get stabbed and was careful where she walked so she didnt get car nabbed. I used to think PK (port kembla) was the worst. Mind you Im talking 20+ years ago.

  5. I returned to Oz from living abroad & thought I’d like to live near the coast. I found places to rent in Berkley & Warrawong but after just driving into the street I decided not to even bother going in for a look. I felt really scared just driving in. Not a place you’d feel comfortable living in.. back in the day Mt Druitt was the worst place, but now they’ve moved up and out and ended up in these suburbs. I couldn’t even speak, just shook my head. These burbs are rough.

  6. Wow, people in Australia living in poverty while the government has to source workers over seas. People in Australia choose to live in poverty. We literally have refugees coming to Australia and becoming doctors or well off in other areas because the country provides so much. You want to take away poverty stop with the hand outs.

  7. If you end up in prison through crime then you're bad at it, unless you were too young to know any different. Couldn't get that right as a 'career' choice. Lots of plastic gangsters around. Got the tats, beefed up etc, etc.

  8. Compare this episode to your one going through Dandenong and they are chalk and cheese. I lived up the road from the Mangerton place you visited and there were never any issues at all.

  9. You’d think the government would push these government houses away from these coastline areas which are a premium if developed properly and put them somewhere out of the way…
