  1. They do help me with neck and back pain but I get more relief from it with my longcovid "brain fog " hard to concentrate or staying on task. Allows my muscles to relax and get some deep sleep. I believe it does help even if it is temporary relief ❤

  2. CBD oil does help me to get into a deeper sleep, and then I use Voltaren cream on my back for spinal stenosis. But I must say something that helps me to sleep better and feel more well, more than CBD is Ashwagandha. Are you familiar with that?

  3. CBD didnt really help but CBN made my glaucoma go from 28 to 17. The pills contain CBD, CBN, and some THC. It makes you sleep when you are in pain. Before my surgery at Stanford Hospital in M20, morphine and Dilaudid barely helped but i had an amazing neurosurgeon who fixed me and most days i have no pain. Before the surgery i couldnt walk stand or do anything but they fixed me.

  4. Kyphoplasty went wrong . Blood clot and heart attack. Never have used CBD products. Used Percocet for 5 weeks to get through surgical pain to remove the blood clot with IR.

  5. My thoughts are this. With stage two trials underway, you just now looking into this? Glad I don’t work for you, we are 4 years plus in, developing pilot program for pain in RMS. Of course you doubt it works, until you see those $$$$$. BTW, its not even a old school darvon👨🏿‍🍼

  6. I think it depends on the person also the type, and quality of the gummy. Doctor you may need to go to a dispensary find out. Inquiring in person may also assist in your research.
I’ve spoken with a few persons who say the gummies do help minimize their pain after surgery as well as naturally relax them.

I have horrible back pain. One of my daughters thought to have me try the gummy’s.
I learned they asked her what was my pain tolerance to see what they recommend.
Although the gummy was yummy. They were not inexpensive.
for me did not help. I tried it one day, a second day. I realized and learned it’s not for me.

  7. I have had back surgery. I am not interested in any CBD product especially gummies. I am a advocate for Marijuana Legalization. The best pain medication for mental and/or physical pain. This is strictly my opinion.

  8. My 77 yo Mom says THC relieves her back pain often by aiding sleep. As an observer, she takes up to 8 high dose capsules and it makes her cranky, very wobbly and causes dementia like forgetfulness.

  9. A combination of THc and CBD help the most. My C3-7 are fussed, EDS, PTSD, and more. The THC helps with pain. CBD seems to help with the anxiety of pain. I actually found with bad neck pain, back, and Burning Mouth syndrome a small amount of Clonazapin helps me calm down and use other natural, breathing, distraction, rest are easier to do. I gave up all narcotics 5 years ago when my son got addicted to my ex’s (a MD) stash. I kept mine in a safe. I have physically suffered at times. I hate when other Drs assume I am the addict.
I wish I had something I could do to heal the time I woke during a uterine oblation with boiling water in my uterus. I was paralyzed. I was locked in knowing all I could do was bare it. Thank a tear rolled down the side of my face. I heard the anesthesiologist yell, “she’s awake”, clanking, and then I was out. It has been 15 years and I cry a lot of days. I haven’t been able to have a man near me because I can feel the agony inside myself. I get Ketamine infusions for my ptsd from my ex MD’s 2 attempted murders. He is a malignant narcissist. I was so naive. So open and kind. Now I can only try to heal my amygdala and focus on knowing myself again, and do my art. I wish I could attach photos of my self portraits, before, during and after

  10. My father got diagnosed with Gliobastoma which spread to his spine in 2017. We were told there was nothing that could be done apart from managing his pain. We tried a high tincture of THC and CBD combined to treat his pain but we were extremely wary of how this would effect his cognitive function so we gave him pin prick doses and he claimed it helped his pain and keep his appetite up. We had to try everything because there were no other options and in hindsight I don’t think CBD alone helps, I believe the healing comes from the THC but I do think more testing should be done.

  11. CBD has not touched my back or neck pain. I have spent alot of money trying various products. I read THC and CBD together help more but I’m trying to be more functional so don’t want to be high. Sigh.. Wonder why some people on here have stated it helps them?

  12. They take the edge off with or without THC. Helps with sleep. Does not help with acute pain, just the chronic nagging pain. THC does nothing for inflammation, just puts your mind in a better state at smaller doses. Personally hate gummies, prefer liquid from reputable store only. Not the kitchen made stuff from Michigan

  13. When my husband gets bent over from pain in his back . He found using an inversion board can do wonders for him! From what I understand it gives a bit of space between the backbones so the bulging nerves that are being squashed can reduce and go back into the spinal area they belong in. He only needs the inversion board to have him at an angle not straight up and down. And only for a few minutes. The first time he used one it helped relieve his pain the first evening before bed by prob 70% at least then he did one more few minutes the next morning and he was pretty pain free for quite a while till he did something that hurt his back again (working on classic cars) so if he used the inversion board again it would be successful. Lately though he’s dealing with the torn tendons in his shoulders. The doctor has him going to some specialists for that right now.

  14. I tried CBD gummies for bone on bone pain. I did not get any relief from them at all. I had only heard of the success stories. For me they were a waste of money. It also meant that I spent more time in pain hoping for something to give me relief.

  15. I started taking CBD capsules after I read the manufacturer's story of why they created their oils (by "Charlotte's Web"). I mainly took it for better focus and all of the benefits CBD oils claim. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. I noticed it did in fact improve my focus, especially at work (very demanding job). However, the proof was in the pudding when I gave it to my (late) mother, who had advanced Alzheimers in the hopes it could possibly help. Lo and behold only a week later, I noticed she was actually watching TV – granted, she likely was unable to follow the storyline, but she was focused on the show vs. the previous week, her attention span was just not there. In my personal experience and that of my late mother's, it was/is a definite improvement/plus. I wouldn't know if it helps pain because, THANK GOD, I don't have any ailment or pain(s). I take one 25 mg capsule every morning with coffee and off to work. (I am not sponsored by the company, nor do I work with/for its manufacturer, but when a product is great, it merits great reviews/comments. Plus, the story of why they created their products sold me.)

  16. I do not have back pain, but I do have CRPS (RSD) and I do get at least some relief from CBD. I get enough relief from it that I use it everyday in conjunction with prescription meds. I use the oil. I have extreme pain in all my extremities.

  17. Oh how I wish we could sit and chat. I have had back issues for 8 years due to a work accident. I have had a discectomy L-4 L-5 and L-5 S-1. I have also had an anterior fusion L5-S1. Had a bad fall 12/22/23 and did more damage and may have another fusion. Have horrible pain and over the past two years I have tried the gummies. A few friends swear by them. I was in so much pain and nothing was working. I tried them and they did nothing. Not even a little bit. My pain in between an eight to a ten every day. I am blessed to have a neurosurgeon from Cedars Sinai Dr Yashar is amazing. If you have any other questions please ask.

  18. I used CBD oil (topical and oral) (no thc) from two very reputable local companies religiously for over a year for multiple ailments (mainly trigeminal neuralgia and severe joint pain from autoimmune issues). Didn’t do a thing for me, unfortunately.

  19. Used a CBD cream someone gave me and it worked good for sciatica but it was really expensive. Voltaren gel works just as good for much cheaper!
CBD gummies didn’t seem to do much and made me tired 🥱.

  20. I don't have chronic pain, but do have a history of mental illness. I think because I haven't had a full psych workup, the underlying and comorbid illness have not yet been diagnosed. I am thinking along the lines of CPTSD, BPD, ASD. I know that for me, when I smoke cannabis flower with THC or THC/CBD, I feel more connected and "in" my body rather than outside my body or in my head. The tightness of my body relaxes. I often will have the urge to stretch when I am high because my body feels so good. I think having both CBD and THC enhances the effect of pain relief or the "body high" you feel. I don't eat edibles as often but when I do, the effects seem similar. I always enjoy watching your channel! Keep up the good work!

  21. I don’t take them personally but two close friends with cancer ( one friend whose mom has cancer in the spine) says cbd oil and gummies are one of the only things that give them relief without the side affects of steroid pain killers.

At the same time, modern science needs to invent a way to measure it in the body so people who abuse it and drive can be charged and convicted of DUI – several district attorneys tell me that’s a huge challenge for them after someone gets into an accident and charging that person of being under the influence. It’s totally out of control in the NY Metro area and illegal/ unlicensed shops are popping everywhere. Police say they are totally understaffed for the growing unregulated black market

  22. Im a wheelchair user. I have chronic low back pain & I get spasms in my low back & hips. I use CBD oil w/ THC . I have found that it helps reduce my muscle spasms and reduce my pain. It also has reduced my anxiety & helps my insomnia.

  23. I have many thoughts to share about this. Too many to share here… I wish I could go back and never use it, or anything else. Please don't give out something that you won't use yourself. Sometimes searching for pain relief can go into a very hard place, and when you need pain relief, you get looked at like a junkie.

  24. I have used a very small part of a gummy to help me sleep longer and better, not because of pain. I would take it at bedtime with magnesium and Enalapril and slept 4 hours before having to get up as opposed to 2 hours. Have not used it for pain.

  25. 👋 I was using CBD oil with .375% THC for about a year for back pain. It did relax me for sleep but did not relieve pain. I then determined my severe cottonmouth was caused by the CBD oil. I discontinued using the CBD oil. Marijuana is legal in my state. I received a monthly subscription from out of state. I never was a fan of pot when younger. But I thought I would try the oral oil. Just made me sleepy. ❤

  26. I found the minimum dosage of CBD necessary to receive relief from anti-inflammatory effect made me feel like I was hurting my liver's feelings. However, I applied the same concentrated ingestible oil as a liniment and it worked fairly well for fairly shallow inflammation zones (hands, knees, ankles). But diclofenac gel is far less costly and works better. May be worth considering if you can't use NSAIDs. I prefer turmeric for ingestible anti-inflammatory, but can cause indigestion. I don't recommend turmeric as a topical.

  27. No!! Tried it before. Back surgery. No. Nothing helped. Tried the drops. Did nothing r except tasted terrible. All in some peoples head anything to try to get out of reality. Back surgery was only thing that helped.thank the lord for good doctors. They are a blessing.
