yellow lights generally come from LED lights being too far away. besides leggy. LED blue white 4000 lumens plus 5000k seems to give a rich dark green. for veg. not including hydro/spyder/tarantula systems..
if you take smaller clones, they'll recover faster. I cut my clone at 6 adult blades. including top. I use low light flourescent distanced 2 feet away. Cutting big clones is the same as stapling an 8000 calorie/day man's stomach, and expecting him to continue as before burning that many calories. Starving out the plant. yes, you can't beat flood and drain. also lets you know immediately if you over fertilize the plant. as opposed to sunshine mix/2 gallon pots. good job btw

Aloe gel and myco make a great soak for cuttings before planting. Rapid start is also a great product, i use it sparingly throughout veg like every third watering and get great rooting.
