Mfowethu, fight for what you feel is fair and just for your services, and in return could you respond by dutifully removing our weekly refuse, managing the overgrown trees, trimming our verges, and maintaining our parks that look like jungles. We ask for nothing more for the ever-increasing rates we working-class people and pensioners ask for. Think carefully about it, fellow compatriot. Where else does one get more for less?

  2. And where will the money come from. eThekwini municipality is bankrupt. Stealing too much money. Look at the mayor and his ilk. Durban has deteriorated to a 3rd world city and is no longer a tourist attraction.
