  1. Be careful with Magnesium supplements. I started taking one and it greatly impacted my ability to absorb iron and I ended up with a big iron deficiency problem. No more magnesium supplements for me!

  2. I am reading the book β€œChange your diet Change your mind β€œ by Dr Georgia Ede. It’s incredible how our brain works and how we need to nourish it to help with mental illness
Thanks Autumn for your great videos

  3. The number one thing that stopped my anxiety is omega 3…I was pregnant and had constant anxiety and was suffering from mild hypertension…like 140/90…saw the biggest difference after taking omega 3!

  4. I'm a professor.. I couldn't even work because of my anxiety.. Couldn't concentrate, couldn't remember things, was afraid to drive my car.. I was horrible… I compiled a few things that have been working on me…. Hopefully I will be work for someone else too ❀

Do you have a video or short on healthy fats to combine with foods? I know cheese with eggs, hemp with smoothies, oil with cooking, avocado. Would love to know more options and create more recipes.
    You are a GodSend Autumn!!!😘

  6. Autumn, I love your channel and have learnt so much about health and nutrition. You are making a positive impact on the lives of so many. Always remind yourself of that in those anxious moments. Thank you for doing what you do ❀❀

  7. Forgot to mention GOD – incorporating Autumns IF tups ans and importance of protein along eith spending more time with God (while gong for a walk) has changed my life! I sleep better and have lost excess fat while building muscle!❀

  8. I’m not the type who comments on videos but your bit in this vid where you said you peoples comments can make your day I’m promoted to comment.
Thanks to you I lost 20kg and have easily kept it off and have been sitting in a healthier bmi range for a couple of years now. Also my anxiety which has been crippling for many years has for the most part disappeared.
I watched a lot of videos from all sorts of ways to lose weight and I’m not saying those ways are wrong but your advice really struck a chord with me and I can’t thank you enough. You truly changed my life for the better, maybe even saved it because I was definitely headed towards heart disease and type two diabetes?
    Thank you!

  9. I really hope you read this. My body has an adrenal glands deficance, so I have to take cortisone medication every day or, as the doctors have told me, I will die. This has increased my depression, anxiety, and just desire to work out. My blood pressure runs around 100/60, and i am 58. I have been told to eat more salt, so I do the electrolytes but still require more sodium than i would really like. I have been living with this for over a year and have tried to keep doing the intermediate fasting, but my weight hasn't changed. Do you think I should just give up doing intermediate fasting or keep trying? I also struggle with migraines around 3 times a week, which I take medicine for. I was hit by a car on Christmas Eve in 2005 while riding my bike, and my back and left shoulder blade were broken along with my bike helmet being cracked. It protected my brain, but the migraines are from brain trauma. I have rodes and screws in my back and left shoulder. I was able after a long recovery to go back to work, but by the time I hit 50, I was in too much pain to work. I enjoyed doing what exercises I could because the endorphins helped stop the pain. Sorry to write you a book but I just didn't know if continuing with the intermediate fasting would be the best step for me so I wanted to give you my back ground so maybe you could give me your honest opinion. Thank you for reading my long message.

  10. did you try sun theanine? the ltheanine was a great tip. is it really green tea?
I tried GABA and ashwanga but noticed it too much. can salt influence this?
mine is all about nueral pathways from fear, working on it

  11. I have always had stress and anxiety issues, it's in my nature and it's common in some people. I have not tried CBD. I'd like to share my opinion, since due to my anxiety I've had to get hemorrhoid surgery and it was serious, I had to get cauterized also inside. Anxiety and depression can lead to drinking and eating more sugar and inferior quality of carbohydrates which both also worsen it. Anxiety can also lead to smoking and overloading on caffeine, hopefully I never smoked, and I don't intend to; I used to drink when into deep depression and anxiety nevertheless nowadays I drink occasionally, I mean on days like Christmas. Since I am the one driving on the way back, I won't have alcohol if I go out at night with friends. Caffeine, if used correctly, won't cause you stress; just avoid a serious intake of caffeine after 2 PM. I used to have loads of caffeine since I used to work at night. I can't say for certain about social media, it must be useful to shut down devices 30 minutes before going to sleep. When it comes to sleep, there is a plethora of supplements and herbs that can be of assistance; magnesium is one of them and isn't just for improving sleep quality. Intermittent fasting is amazing when it comes to controlling anxiety, I follow a 20/4 window and I absolutely love it; I am not urging anyone to follow this approach, this one suits me. I won't just stick to protein when it comes to nutrition; aim for superior quality sources of all the 3 macronutrients and your performance will be top notch. I mean, the proper fuel also allows you to stress less since your body functions better. As for exercise, whether it was HIIT or strength training with kettlebells or walking or swimming, to me, I've always felt calmer afterwards. Nowadays, I began going to the swimming center and I adore it. Finally, being open to professionals that can help you deal with anxiety isn't a joke; if only all people took this seriously, the world would be a better place. I am not talking about medication, going to a psychologist doesn't cause any harm at all. Thanks Autumn and my apologies for the wall of text.

  12. I have anxiety too….
I like the idea that when you feel anxiety coming on, you talk to your husband or mother about it. I always kept it bottled up. Thank you for sharing. I will start being more open about my anxiety as well.❀

  13. Anxiety is horrible. So many of us suffer with it. I admire you on not drinking. I need to cut back. We can waste so much time on Facebook etc. I do love pasta 🍝. I do have it still but not all the time. Thanks so much for the tips and sharing. ❀❀❀❀xxx

  14. Never doubt that you're helping people, Autumn! Intermittent fasting and the foods/supplements you recommended made such a positive change in my health and hormone stability that I actually got pregnant lol. Our daughter is due in August. πŸ’œ

  15. The sleep things tripped me up for years, I'll fall asleep okay but awake 2/3am that's it. I've found supplements help you to fall asleep but not keep you asleep. One the rare days I get 8hrs my anxiety is basically gone.

  16. Awesome video! Something i thought id pass along that has really helped with my sleep lately is using a weighted blanket. I have been struggling with sleep for years but this has been a game changer for me and i sleep great now! Thank you as always for your videos!

  17. I discovered you around two month ago. You completely change the way I view fitness and food… and I started making changes that really, for the first time in many years, showed results. Thanks so much for helping along in my fitness and wellness journey ❀❀❀

  18. All great tips, and many i've found through experimentation as well. For those mentioning coffee – I love my coffee, partially for the caffeine but mostly the taste. I have an espresso machine and drink 2 lattes a morning. To mitigate the cortisol spike I take L-theanine every morning with my first cup and NO spike in corisol (I have an Oura ring and track it). I agree on alcohol – I could have spared myself so many panic attacks in my 20's had I listened to my mother and avoided it. I can have 1-2 drinks IF it is very early (like done before 6:30) and then lots of water, electrolytes, tea and a snack before bed then no impact on sleep. my Oura ring confirmed even a single glass after 7 and my heart rate, temperature, cortisol is all jacked all night and I never get into deep sleep (so even if you sleep alot quantity wise, the quality is often garbage). The other thing, is yes, the protein. I recently (from a bit of your prompting, and others) in creased my protein to 90 grams a day and my cortisol has gone down significantly. I also am trying not to over-train and incorporate more good old fashioned yoga and outside time. Great tips, just here to nod along with all of them that they have made a world of a difference for me too πŸ™‚
