  1. I have complex partial seizures, passed down from my mom. Only one medication has worked in over 46 years. I was a guinea pig for all medications that have been released on the market. But I still have seizure activity. Due to COVID19, I am now homeless. What should I do about heat seizures, stress seizures, and the seizures that occur out of nowhere?

  2. Thank you for this wonderful information! My little boy has suffered from epilepsy for 5 years, and we've had a rough time with the meds controlling it. I am discussing alternative procedures such as these with his doctors now, and it helps to have this more thoroughly explained.

  3. My sister had stroke five year ago that caused Aphasia. And it occurred on the right side. But her head is still sensitive when she combs her hair. She never had surgery to remove the blood clot. She is on two different medication to control her seizures. Now would she be a safe to have that procedure done. She would like be off those medication some day. We spoke to her neurologist about everything but not this procedures.

  4. I have a 9 year old grandson diagnosed with LGS. They have tried every medication available. The ones he is on now don’t stop him from having at least 2 seizures a night. Most of his are nocturnal. He is treated at Seattle Children’s. He has a device implanted in his head and his chest. It still doesn’t keep him from seizing. Please is there any other options? He has the VNS right now.
