  1. Some great info in this. Over the winter period I was intermittent fasting as I wasn't doing much in terms of riding and exercising. It helped me keep my weight stable. I'm back to (as normal as you can be as a vegetarian) normal meals. Breakfast is mostly porridge with soya milk mixed with protein powder and fruit. Lunch is what ever is available. Evening meal made from scratch. So although I am mostly good, there is some room for improvement.
One question though, I was particularly interested in what was said about carbohydrate drinks while out riding. I only use electrolytes in my bottle, I do sweat quite a bit. But I often completely empty myself on a big day and when there's consecutive days riding my legs are unresponsive after two days. Can the carbohydrate powder be mixed with the electrolytes, say half and half measures or should I just use the carbohydrate powder?
    Thanks

  2. Thanks! Good valuable infos here, I was already following Ben but here he's going more in depth and showing not only his knowledge but also the fact that to be a good trainer or coach you must be empathic and sensible. Ciao from Italy!
