there is data to suggest that starting any kind of substance like weed/alchol as someone under 18 serioulsy increase risk of mental/phsyical dependence. i think thats the biggest inditement on it.

I started smoking with gangs around my school at 12 and without weed I prolly would’ve dropped out ngl. Weed made me tolerate useless teachers and incompetent classmates. It also helped me focus and keep interest in subjects way easier than I would’ve if I were sober.
