  1. God bless you dear. Thank you for the info about palliative care and hospice. I am my husbands care giver, he has stage 4 emphysema. Glad I can be there for him. My heart breaks for those who have no one to help or be supportive in their care. I hope you have much more time to live life. You are such a strong woman to put this out there. Thank you

  4. Hi, Jodi. One way to be more likely to have the patient’s wishes listened to is for the family sit down, have a family meeting and discuss how each person in the family feels about if they should end up in that situation for whatever the cause. Make sure that everyone is in agreement for each person’s choice, whether or not it is the same choice that they made. For instance, if Sally chose to go DNR, NO EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES, ECT., then Dick, Johnny and Jill have to respect Sally’s wishes. By the same token Sally has to respect your the wishes made by Dick, Johnny and Jill as do the each of the others. Their decisions don’t have to be the same. Revisit the topic fairly regularly, just treat it like a regular conversation, just as you would if you were planning your vacation. It certainly made things easier when we had to make the decision regarding my mum and dad. Jodi, you know how much you are loved by so many people and I am definitely among that number. Hugs 🤗 and prayers 🙏

  6. Hi Jodi, I was looking at the link to get CBD Pain Freeze and the link states it is incorrect and when I click "here" it takes me to Prosper CBD Pain Freeze Cream however when I click on a product it states this product is inactive and no longer for sale. Is this the correct link? TIA

  7. Excellent video. Thank you for doing this. I am trying to make decisions now myself and the more information I have the better. My hope for both of us – we have plans in place and won't need them too soon. Keep being positive my friend.

  8. I’m
Going to do death with dignity as it is legal in my state . I will not continue to suffer I just don’t know how much is suffering is “too much” for me. I am In pain all the time and 35 years old. None of this is amazing. Maybe I haven’t come to terms as I should just yet. Meds help but there’s only so much that can be done. I’m In palliative care and my medical team is great but….All the challenges that cancer brings I don’t want to deal with the interpersonal challenges especially how people treat you differently like you’re a leper or something. I try to be positive but it’s very hard. I have a great life overall but cancer just puts a damper on your whole life

  9. Good choice, Jodi, on palliative care and the radiation, you got nothing to lose, only to gain with no pain. Maybe the people who don’t get it about you laying in bed, will understand that you need rest from your pain. I take pain meds too, and I’m not ashamed of it either. I also get burning from nerve damage, taking large doses of Gabapentin everyday for that and it helps my nerve pain. You look absolutely beautiful! I’m happy for you…No More Fighting With Your Pharmacy, YAY!👍🥰🌺♥️🌹
