I often find myself wondering if we had been better to have pushed harder the hemp Industry , the "poor Cousin" of "medical" if the approach had been food first focusing on the plant as a foundational food or nutrient rich food rather than focusing on a "medical" plant.
There is a dirth of research on the seed, yet traditionally it was the seed for good reason that was considered the medicinal part of the plant , now we are focusing on 1 part of the plant , yet the seed contains cannabisins , Phenyl propionamides of equal benefit for health , perhaps the focus should be as a wellness rather than a medical crop IMHO
if you are growing as a food using the seeded head as a wholeplant food , you will reduce much of the molds/fungal issues
