Gosh you create such amazing content!!!! I love plant milks, and this is my next project, after the kale!!! π You're a wonderful teacher, thank you!!!
You are everything a You Tube expert should be. Plesant professional and instructive without the siliness that so many other Youtubers feel they have to annoy us with. You are clear and consise and full of facts and information. I am new to the fermentation of milks and vegetables but have been making 36 hour L Reuteri yogurt for months and two batches of fermentage cabbage so far. I did get the PH meter and am waiting for the Milk bags. Thank you so much for the time you take to make such polished and instructive videos, it most certainly shows.
Do you have an opinion if using a homemade kefir made from fresh raw goat milk compared to using a capsuled probiotic would work to ferment this (or work on other ferments!)? Also- thank you for the link on the digital ph reader!!
Just tried your method (I have been making water kefir for years). I used maple sugar, added some vanilla and a bit of powdered lemon – DELICIOUS! The PH meter you recommended is fabulous and makes this sooooooo easy too! I will be enjoying this regularly. Thank you very much!
My nut milk bag is made from flour sack dish towel. Squeezes easily and washes in laundry. Use the residue in pancakes. Also, when your milk fermentation gets too sour, use as buttermilk in biscuits and pancake batter.
Hi. Just FYI… I placed an order with Garden of Life using my tablet. I was perplexed because I could not find a place to apply their "first time discount code". When I did find it, it was just AFTER clicking the Place Order button. And there was not text box, it was a link to the text box. I contacted them and expressed my concern. The nice lady said the discount code text box is on the Edit and Review your Cart page. I said, I didn't need to review my cart because I saw what was in there. I just wanted to pay and apply the discount code. After using her tablet, she finally realized what I was saying and promised to send the request up the chain. So… if anyone new places an order and wants the 10% discount, be careful.
I tried this but my blender didn't touch the little hemp seeds. It just made froth out of the mix. Do you think it would help to grind them first in a coffee grinder?
Very clever. I also like being able to measure things π. And I agree, that a slightly longer ferment is good for overnight oats at normal room temperature. After 24h mine were almost a little too mushy for my taste, but 10-12 h wasn't quite enough. I'm guessing, it depends on both the amount of probiotic used and the temperature? I don't have air-conditioning, so once it gets really hot, I'll probably have to adjust again.
Hi Sooo enjoying your channel! Onto my 2nd batch of kraut! With this fermented hemp milk, can you save some of it to start your next batch , like sourdough starter? Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua returning soon to reign over the entire world from Jerusalem!
I am fermenting steel cut oats, thanks to you. I have been doing 12 hours as you suggested, but I think I'll try 24 hours and see what happens. I was thinking that the steel cut oat is much less refined than the rolled oat that I believe you were using. Steel cut oats could probably use more time to break down in the ferment.
Your channel is fantastic! I recently came across your fermented water video and it has been a game changer. Can you do a video to explain the ph of different fermented foods at different stages? Iβm in Canada π¨π¦ and I just ordered the ph meter (I was so excited to see you use this tool) and I want to know what ph I should look for when fermenting and why. Thank you for producing such quality content π
I know it's creepy. I know I shouldn't… But. This lady is a total smoke show
I had no desire to make hemp milk when i watched this video, but now, not only am i planning to make hemp milk, but I'm also going to ferment it.
I LOVE your videos!
Now my fermented pickles, okra, kimchi, water, and oats will have to make room for fermented hemp milk.
I love all the science-based info you provide! Keep up the good work! I have been sharing your videos with loved ones. π€©π₯°π€

Have you ever tried fermenting a protein drink?

You are amazing! I made your probiotic tablets and honey and already I feelπ. Thank you!
Can you use hemp milk as a starter keeping the fermentation going?

Hi, Thank you for your videos! Do you heat the oats up after soaking overnight?
Can you substitute coconut water and then proceed without the sweetner? I agree, this channel is seriously underrated!
Instead of honey, can I use agave syrup?π
Loving to learn about fermentation! Cheers from Brazil
Interesting , should I add a prebiotic to my cabbages when fermenting?

What vegan probiotics are there? Is it possible to make your own probiotics from scratch (plant based)? Thank you.

I love your channel β€οΈ

Thanks for the video! Can milk kefir be used to ferment instead of probiotic caps?
Thank you. New to fermenting and your channel. Great info . Great video .
