The amount of people who die and have their lives and health ruined because of prohibition is insane, obviously every drug is different and would require it's own regulations but decrimansmisition and proper information and education about the drugs people are taking would save alott of lives and keep money out the hands of criminals, unfortunately the drug trade is so intertwined within our financial establishment making this sort if change could be compared to switching from fossil fuels to renewable energy, unfortunately the drug trade is so intertwined within our political establishment and that many people make money out of it things will never change

Marijuana is medicine to a lot of people. Many use alcohol for similar reasons, to escape reality to ease the stress on your mind, but marijuana is so much safer than alcohol it's ridiculous. Especially if you vape or eat the marijuana.
It is a good idea to filter the population with it just like the alcohol, you will change your brain and slow it down forever. But not necessarily a bad thing because most people do not use intelligence to make a living. In old times, people use war to kill each other, but now we have more elegent tools that some people just destroy themselves out of their wills

I was living in Geneva around the years 1999 and 2000, they opened a few shops in different locations around the city where you could go and legally purchase marijuana, a variety of strains were available. It was sold over the counter by uniformed police officers

I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot
You better believe it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame
Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.
I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes
They did nothing but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis could not walk around
I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground.
I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
After I smoked some to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
I searched for some ground I wouldn't have to buy.
I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Got in my truck and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where wild birds nest
Found me the meadow I thought was the best.
I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds
Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.
Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.
I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.
In less than a week my crop was gone
