  1. it feels special to be part of all this. I have always loved the tradition, formality and the regalness of the Monarchy. The pomp and ceremony, the singing of God save the Queen now King … There's just something about it, and being part of the Commonwealth, we are included in all the ceremonies. Royalty has been around for eons, but just because something seems old and outdated, doesn't mean it's bad. A lot of modern things are terrible, but many don't complain about that. Australia, we are truly blessed to be a part of this. Always keep in mind when wanting to separate from the Monarchy for whatever reason, to be careful what you wish for. God rest her Majesty and God save the King!

  2. Used to be one of them in Brisbane. Was a nice quiet spot to wait for the bus – despite the presence of the ghastly statue of QEII (nothing personal, just has an oddly long neck). Gone now, thanks to the redevelopment.
