  1. OMG I was thinking immediately "that is stunning nettle!" As a young child raised in a semi rural area this was the number one avoided plant. But, never understood why Mum used to put it in her tea!

  2. Stinging nettle is wonderful I tried it for the first time about a year ago when I had a bad gout attack. Brushed the leaves and stem on my joint and almost instantly the pain decreased and with in minutes was gone altogether. Funny thing is I have been stung countless times from it over the years living out in the country but when I rubbed it on my gout I felt zero stringing.

  3. My grandfather and I use to keep bees and we use to have people come up and paid to get stung by the bees we raised back then to help with their arthritis. So not surprised by the guy who had pain relief from arthritis from the stings.
    Great information overall.

  4. I'm confused. A previous video on using ice to reduce inflamation on owies, was probably not a good idea. Isn't this the same as reducing inflamation on arthritis? Which is true?

  5. I grew up in Eastern Europe and we used stinging nettles for health remedies and even sauteed it like spinach with garlic and oil and served it as a side dish. Thanks, Dr. Berg, for sharing your wisdom.

  6. If you make it as a tea, do the benefits decline to any great degree, as against applying the nettle leaves topically? I would like to receive maxiumum benefit, with the lease degree of extra pain!

Does it matter what country or region it is grown in, as maybe the soil composition would be important for the plant benefits?

    Joy
