My disability is not obvious. I used to be very active. Expert skier, mountain climbing, mountain biking, ice hockey, etc. Now mowing the lawn is the best I can do. Chronic Pain, exhaustion, depression and behavioral foibles. I hate the assumption that I'm just lazy by people who don't know me. Social isolation is also awful.
Most things about being blind includingbeing told by people that they hope my eyes get better just a way for people to dismiss the topic without having to feel bad
