After listening to Whole Brain Living where the author had a stroke and temporarily lost function in her left brain, the right brain not freaking out makes more sense. Freaking out is such a left brain thing to do.
I am very late to this video but right brain might think it can talk because the 2 parts communicate you might only find out you were right brain after the procedure. If anyone disagrees I would love to know the reason because this is just a guess with no basis.
this kind of thing is something that people are confused about but go along with thinking that this is the only thing like this out there, it isn't though. people with DID and other similar brain functionalities work similarly to this by default, without the split. we, the person commenting this, are one of those people, we are a collective of 15 individuals working together as one, coordinating and talking to each other to make tasks and function happen, each playing a part to create the 'person' we are, while this doesn't make sense to everyone, it doesn't have to. people are multiple, most are two, some are more. for those who are wondering, yes we can 'be' individually, but where's the fun in that?
Anyone else thinks this would be a great concept for a si fi story ware someone clones themselves, but the non dominant side of the brain gets copied exposing the a different person then the person that was being cloned?
I wonder if this is why it's so hard to diet. You know you have to stop eating junk food and watch your calories but it's like something else takes control and you end up eating an entire carton of Chips Ahoy cookies in one sitting.
So does that mean my intelligence is basically half of what is is but it’s also double of half? Sort of like shrodingers cat? Or is the brain some sort of thing where only one part of the brain determines intelligence? Or is it a bunch of separate parts?
So if there is two of you, and each one controls 1 hand, does that mean that people who are ambidextrous communicate more with there silent part?
its fine until you understand that you are the brain, and are wondering about yourself!

picks up other pony in no
that explains a lot.

Fun fact, dolphins and whales sleep with one hemisphere of their brains at a time so they don't drown
Watching this video was mind blowing
Sources?
Seriously, as someone with epilepsy, I definitely feel like I have no control over my mind.
I might be two, but we are one when it comes to punching drywall

Do you ever think you feel a certain way, but after you write things down, realize your "true underlying" feelings?
I knew there was a reason I'm always in 2 minds about stuff🙃
Has there been any studies conducted on split brained people's ability to multitask over other people's? Are they any better at dual processing? 🤔
2 isn’t 3(magic number); but it is more than TWICE as important as one [heart+comment below for an explanation ❤]

This video would be great if i wasn't completely distracted by the awful sounding ?drums? in the background
wait if you two then who are you?
So does a left handed person speak with their right brain, because it is the main one and not the companion?
Bro Im watching this high and I feel like I can feel my brain
So left brain and right brain have entirely seperate thoughts? And does that mean that our brains are split for control over our body?
what if we gave our right brains a mouth and a voice somehow?
So what part of my brain is constantly horny?
I like to think that I’m two little guys talking about what to do next every single second
Imagine that you are Jaeger from Pacific Rim and that the hemispheres are the two pilots

There are 2 wolves inside all of us

One part of me is saying “COOL! MIND = BLOWN.” And one part of me is saying “Bro, obviously you’re wrong.”
There should be a horror movie about this
Think of all the times you feel like you forgot something or perhaps the inate sense of doing something wrong….
Would you know which side you are? And can both sides think? If so, does right brain think without words and left think with words?
