32 lbs of marijuana lands two behind bars – Newstalk KZRG

Two people from OKC were taken into custody New Years Eve for having a large amount of marijuana on them. Read the full press release below:

On 12-31-2022, at approximately 10:00 AM, a Jasper County K-9 Deputy stopped a vehicle on the Kum and Go parking lot in Sarcoxie for a registration violation. During the stop, approximately 32 pounds of Marijuana was
located inside the vehicle.

Wylette Overton, 31, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Rodrick Richey, 33, also of Oklahoma City, were arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in Carthage.

Charges were sent to the Prosecutors Office for review and both individuals were charged with Delivery Of A Controlled Substance (Felony).

Overton posted a bond of $25,000 and Richey has a bond of $35,000, he remains in custody.
