By saying that we should not be legal because young people are getting hold of it and doing stupid things well a young person can just as easily get into a medicine cabinet and get a hydro or a Vicodin all right Xanax but you don't see that not being allowed for doctors to give to patients so why can't we go out here and choose to get something that's not going to cause what these other men made drugs are causing there's people in cemeteries because it's ok to take a pill 🙏🙏🥺
What this actually comes down to is the cost of medical. I know quite a few people who can't afford the medical cards and cost. They also can't get help with regulating their pain. One person in particular was told she shouldn't take Tylenol or ibuprofen due to being on a cancer medication and other medical conditions. What is the result for her? Constant pain or taking Tylenol/ibuprofen regardless of the recommendation not to. It's horribly sad.
"Why does society need another mind altering, mood changing substance.." Society already has Cannabis, it always has and it always will have it so that isn't real issue. I think the biggest gain for Arkansas will be less people in our jails and prisons.
No one is addressing how fucked up the Medical roll out was – only a handful of growers got licenses. I'm for marijuana. Nothing in this bill helps keep it from being ANOTHER monopoly. I'm ashamed as someone who wants rec MJ that they did not learn from the Medical implementation and open it up. Pro-4 says yes marijuana, only a few more growers, meanwhile it''s only a handful of growers AS IS. It's PURE bureaucracy. This is why this Issue will fail. Give republicans free market = it passes. Democrats losing because its still too regulated i.e. prone to monopoly. In Fayetteville, there's one store who gets it from one guy. Why? Because they only gave out a handful of med grow licenses. What you didnt know? Every ag person in the state applying had to pay THOUSANDS of dollars just to apply for a limited amount of licenses which were probably already predetermined to a select group of lobby-supporters. Yall need to wake up. Just because its on the ballot doesn't mean you're not being played. Both sides of this are wanting your money and freedom whether you realize it or not. I want MJ to pass. If this passes, so be it, but think twice because we should want a free market, not a monopoly of sellers and growers. It's really simple in my eyes but none of the issues address this and shame on them.
Years ago a small city in NW Arkansas publicly and officially decided not to arrest anyone for possessing marijuana for years and they don’t seem to have a problem. Has that changed?
Unfortunatly medical pot costs? You have to find a dr., then pay a fee to gat a medical pot, thats not counting the amount you pay for the medical pot! We need to reduce the laws on pot! So we dont go to jail on small amounts of pot? Most of us dont care anything about gummies or strong pot, just dont want to be condemned for smoking pot?
The only issue for law enforcement is that they have less people to arrest for having weed

Make tobacco and liquor illegal
I agree don't tax weed, but it should be legal.
Ignore the vote NO on issue for commercials veterans with neurological and seizure issues can benefit from this.
And there appears to be no such group as "Safe and Secure Communities"
Luke Niforatos comes across as a border line nutter.
Vote for Issue 4!!!!
