I'm new to CBC/THC use, it was suggested by a friend for my chronic joint pain. The whole process is still a mystery and I'm still finding my "sea legs". I'm 73 y/o and I want to live my last few years without discomfort. I must admit that I enjoy the buzz I've gotten from the CBD/THC use but it doesn't happen all the time?! I've recently learn that too high a dose of CBD will cancel out the THC affect? On one occasion I had an undesirable affect and it was suggested I take more CBD to mellow out! Basically what I want to know is at what concentration can I get the total benefit of the CBD and the mellow buzz of the THC? From what lve learned, CBD helps with pain relief and the THC affect makes you not care if there is pain??
I got prescription to Cannatrek mCART CBD vape smoke but scared to try it because it has THC in it, I need some help to figure out what it will do to me and if I won’t feel high
It’s says this on it
“mCARTs deliver a metered dosage of 5mg of extract per 3 second draw 1 draw delivers 3.1mg CBD and <0.3mg THC Each mCART contains approximately 100 draws”
It’s 310mg of CBD AND 30mg of THC DELTA 9, will it get me high? What will it do? How much of it can I vape without getting high?
So I’m new to Medicinal Marijuana use However I want something that will help me with back spasm sleep and a little bit of euphoria is there a such a strain.

Ratios are great to consider when talking about flower, but for true, controlled therapeutic purposes, what's more important is learning and using the right actual therapeutic amount of cannabidiol or THC for a given purpose. Many labels only give you the gross amount of hemp extract/oil in the package, and do NOT tell you the actual amount of active ingredients (CBD, THC, and terpenes). As a neuro patient, over time, I learned that 25 to 30mg of actual cannabidiol (CBD) per day is the best maintenance dose for me. (Obviously that would vary for others, depending on their health issue, tolerance, etc.) I use a 10:1 tincture (there is your ratio), and with my tincture (I live in Washington State where all cannabis products are tested and clearly labeled), each dropper full gives me about 9mg of cannabidiol (CBD) and 1mg of THC. I use three droppers full per day, sublingually. (3mg of THC does not get me buzzed, so I can still function at a high level.) When my disease relapses, I increase that to 50 to 100mg of cannabidiol per day, depending on the severity of symptoms (spasms, spasticity, tremors, neuropathy, numbness, vertigo, gait and balance problems, etc) using a FECO pen (similar to RSO), and sometimes supplementing that by smoking a joint of a very high CBD flower, such as The Lite or AC/DC, both of which are very high in CBD (13 to 16%) and low in THC (1 to 3% on average). For neuropathic pain relief, THC is the answer for me. I will have a few puffs of a slightly higher THC (5 to 6% THC) and higher CBD flower. The THC is excellent for my neuropathy, eliminating most of the pain and making me comfortable, without being stoned and couch locked. I am not a recreational user, so most would consider me a "light weight". I am a 55 year old father and business owner with a disease that can be debilitating – and I have a very good neurologist/physiatrist who has studied medical cannabis for 30 years. The beauty of having cannabis products legalized, and labeled and tested for purity and potency is that, at least here in Washington, I know exactly what I am getting and taking. That helps me to manage my disease far better than any of the pharmaceutical cocktails I used to take ever did. Lyrica is OK, but drugs like gabapentin, methocarbomol, metaxalone, and others turned me into a zombie. I hated them, and no longer take any of them. Cannabis, in its many forms, along with a Whole Food Plant Based diet, which greatly reduces inflammation in our bodies, is my only medicine now. I hope this info helps someone. Namaste!
I have been a long time marijuana user. Over the last 5 years I started to get anxiety attacks right after smoking some times. This issue progressed to the point of anxiety attacks without smoking to the point I went to the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack. I was determined that I have an anxiety disorder. I have tried a couple medications but most seem to make things worse. I stopped my medications and things have gotten be but I still have anxiety attacks and have trouble sleeping. I worry constantly and stress over just about everything. It’s very hard for me to calm down. Would would you recommend to help me feel more relaxed less stressed and be able to sleep well. Thank you for your time.

When calculating ratios, the total parts of the ratio have to add up. 9:1 has 10 parts. The ratio would therefore be 9:1, not 10:1
