  1. I feel like it's not fair to answer any of the "becoming a pro" questions with anything else but "it's not gonna happen". There's 1250 pro cyclists on the entire planet and 99% of the factors are genetic. If you don't have genes, you can start at age of 4 and train all the time, it's not going to help you. On the other hand you can do ski jumping into your 20's, and if you are genetic freak, you will become one of the best riders ever.

  2. I had the post race blues after Stagecoach 400 and had no idea what to tackle next. I did however tell myself regardless of the result I would buy myself a new guitar. I did and have been tackling writing new music and got back into lessons for my voice. Still doing fun rides and the weekends and commute in the bike to work still…perfect balance at the moment

  3. Count me as impressed by Hannah’s ability to have such a consistently positive outlook/framework. The mental framework she shares and communicates so articulately on these podcasts is next level.

  4. Do y’all think the pressure adjustment systems we are seeing worldtour teams starting to play around with will catch on in the MTB world for these highly variable event courses? Being able to change pressure on the fly seems advantageous in these instances, far more than a cobbled classic would.

  5. Motivation and lost fitness after lost training: don't compete with your former self, loosing fitness demonstrates training is worth it.

  6. In Australia, I heard a boom when tires on a bike exploded after a bike was left on a car rack in the sun. They must have pumped up in the shade, was a super hot day.

  7. or you could just tell everyone you're pro. that is my approach and then I do not bother showing up to the group rides because I tell my mates that I am out with the pro team and will do a cool down with them later lol works everytime. oh also, just quit your job and ride around durning the day. that will also show people you're pro for road 🙂

  8. What is with this vertical format seriously? I know a 3-square format is clunky, but look at how this is done for news broadcasts. This would work if you inset the three frames from the edges of the video, cropped shoulders in, and added some lines between each camera for separation. I feel like I'm about to bump foreheads with everyone
