California legalized weed. Personally I like it better when it was medical only, but that’s just my preference. Recreational made it so everybody can just have fun and I felt that undermines someone like me with Complex PTSD that helps me sleep from major trauma and nightmares💗✝️

Hardly anyone know anything about cannabis, in my high school. Then they announced the drug war. Over night every kid I knew either started smoking pot, or lied about it, claiming they did. It was the fast track to becoming one of the "cool" kids. The war on drugs, has manufutired the drug abuse problem, we currently have. It's also the driver, of the homelessness every city is fighting. Most of the homeless are just the losers, of the drug wars. America's streets were unbelievably safe, before the drug war. After they started ramping up the drug war, crime exploded. William F Buckley vigorously warned us back in the 60s. He rightly observed our drug war would corrupt both our citizens and law enforcement. He predicted the nation would go broke waging this unjust war. The war on drugs was started by racist individuals, wanting an excuse to continue with Jim Crow style law enforcement. That's how the drug was was sold to the American public. It was sold using the most racist terms. After all, smoking marijuana, would cause white women to have sex with blacks, and Mexicans. They started the drug wars with no science, just hatred of minorities. Now the people benefiting from employment with the resultant police state, demand that we produce some sort of "science" proving cannbis legalization is safe. No one used any science to start the drug war. Richard Milhouse Nixon, wanted to use the drug war, against blacks, Mexicana, and and others who didn't support his political agenda. Imagine a people whose highest claimed value of freedom, could be goaded into to building a police state.
