1 loaf of bread ground chunky not fine 1 family size box of Quaker instant grits and 1 pack of strawberry jello mix add at least 20 ozs of lake water to start add more water until you get it to pack but not to much or it will get soupy and will not pack. Puffed wheat for your hook bait. Put some puffs in a bowl and add a little lorann spearmint oil to them and shake it up good and you’re ready to rip. Great video guys y’all was on em. If you were Bass fishing you would be tickled to death with all those 5 pounders but when you’re in a place where the Carp can get up into the 30s those 5 pounders are just little guys but still a ton of fun. Jays a talented carp angler fishing one handed while on the phone. 😂 👍. Oh yeah now they’re getting bigger…..Congrats on that 25 pounder Jay! Nice one buddy. Will watch soon as I get home. Wanna also try shock leaders for break off to mate. I use rig tubbing dose protect the line a bit. But rig tubbing is mainly just to protect the fishes scales really from what I understand. A few lakes I go to have rig tubbing as must just for fish care. But yeah dose protect the line abit I guess, my mate fishes in a couple of lakes with mussels and rocks and allsorts of snags. He uses Korda Arma Kord Abrasion Resistant Braided Leader. Can get 30lbs or 50lbs. He don't fish on that syndicate without it. Can go wrong with using a Leader essentially with the big boys and muscles u in your rivers and lakes, I'm a Inline lead and method feeder man myself. My pay who uses the shock leaders uses lead clips and dumps leads too preventing his cut off and snags. Nice one mate.some Nice fish there. All the little ones add up, like your bait idea's. Try some hot sauce on ur hook bait too. Carp do live a bit if spice, you can spend a fortune in the UK on theses korda goods ect like 15 quid for luke a 250mil bottle. I make my own now and work very well. Can make like 2 liters for the price of 250mil. Check out them shock leaders tho mate my mate swears by them in hard waters with mussels n shit on the bottom, You'd probably wanna go for the 50lbs one, especially with the monsters u got over there. I can't wait one day to go fishing over there 😊. Really enjoying theses vlogs mate cheep it up.
