Anyone answer a question? I grow in tents. To get the adequate amount of light to the plants, par, supposedly you hang the lights at a certain distance ( ex. My mars hydro fc8000 roughly 20-24in away from canopy during flower). So how come ANY time i see a commercial grow, the lights are mounted on the ceiling, like 20ft away from the plants? Is there something im missing here? Ps nice video awesome lights, love CL i run their uvb in flower tents ✌
What I need to understand is how those LEDs who looks like old tech with all those blue and red diodes have enough penetration as they are very far from plants… The mega drive is just a big driver…nothing crazy! I use LEDs since 2014/2015 and my drivers are out of the growing room since a long time! I made my own fixtures since day 1 with cree cxb3590 CD @1400mA and today with Samsung lm301b and far red (IR 730nm 5 minutes before lights off and 5mn after…it will trigger sleep mode faster!) I can pull 2gpw with the best conditions (I do not have a/c and co2!)but it's around 1.7gpw on average…when I use to get 0.7/0.8gpw with hps!
How do I get in contact with you guys I have a a building that just got approved needing a retrofit budget is not unlimited but investors are secure thanks for your time your effort and your content I'm constantly learning new things from you and your videos
Great video Nate I really enjoyed information the clarity that you brought on this product we need more videos like this. I know I sometimes talk 💩 but I really enjoy the channel.
I am an electrician and when I saw this product hit the market I knew it was gonna be a “game-changer”. This is very similar to the new style “state of the art” commercial lighting systems. Well, I say new but it’s probably been in use for 15 years now. Overall significant system efficiency increases. It’s been a long know engineering standard that the more you can make components of a system be specialized to do only one thing, the more effective it becomes. You know what they say, everything old becomes new again. Lol. Seeing that wall of power supplies remote from the grow totally reminds me of the old school “ballast rooms” that stayed at like 120°F.
Thanks helps alot.
If they could do a 30 800w dimmable light run for less than $10k they would never run out of customers.
Did you know that gGRO Horticulture has the only HID technology on the market that qualifies for California’s Title 24 Part 6 for indoor grow.
There is an alternative to LED.
gGRO’s technology is patented and qualifies for custom rebates.
gGRO runs at 130,000hz. Lamps last 30,000 hrs with only 10% degradation over the life of the lamp.
Great episode, solid content!
Technology changes everything. Do you use automatic irrigation systems or greenhouse controller?
This is just an amazing update for future users

good game drop guys
How everybody trying to make business with every bullshit 🙈🤣
Why the hell does a transparent greenhouse have lights for
Those red stems showcasing these fixtures are NOT doing you any good friend. Case in point: you can’t buy a good grow✌️🦚

Ah so he's gonna call his baby 24 months old. Very good😂
Good info
This is insane. Definitely low-key revolutionary
That´s just a a bunch of drivers connected in series inside a box with a fuse and a cooler…

Nice for commercial growers. Have at it guys. California sun grown might be cheaper.
Great video, looking forward to the future.
let's say that guy paid 1 million for his lights (for round numbers), look at our cost reduction now!

are these lights on the approved list for Illinois?
genius 😎
no mention of diodes?
I've been using hps for 20 years there's nothing better, led does not punch through the canopy like a quality hps, imo
You had me at 30k
Have you done light quality tests vs. Hps?
😤😤😤🌿🌿❤️❤️❤️
That looks like a very nice system great setup always a great show
