People must stop comparing places,some people refuse to beter ther lives,,some got decent, amount of land and chose to not make a living on it,,now its even more difficult,, in E Cape great green pastures are being wasted,,,
The ANC are flooding people from other provinces into Cape town hoping they get more votes, now the DA playing the pity party using ther tactic,why must our kids born in Cape town struggle to get jobs, in varsities college and sit over crowded class rooms,,our hospitals not functioning properly..how will they be able to fix the drug and gangsterism problem if they keep on over loading ther forks, its by time that to other provinces should be invested in that people don't need to over crowd WC,,the cape flats has been for years known drugs and turf wars,,with this influx of people it will become a never ending story, i think another problem its not about skin colour but culture
Mr steenhuizen really got some excellent points..i was o much waiting on him to just once mentioned with the help of God,, irrespective of being a liberal and his believes as a liberal,, when it comes to natural disasters South Africa are still one of the most blessed countries because of the amount ofGod Fearing citizens..
I'd like to hear a politician just once say we need to rid ourselves of illegal immigrants in order to ensure that our own people, firstly, are occupying low cost housing and then fire every single politician caught committing any single unethical act, with jail for criminal activity.
The huge problem with these parliamentary sideshows is that they seem to forget that the rest of the world cannot take us seriously. I personally find it embarrassing. It centainly wasn't like that before. Nobody should be heckling whilst others are speaking and for the State President to tell people to shut up is just as appalling.
one of the things I have come to make peace with is the fact that, SA will never be united completely, white elites including politicians don want the same things that majority of the black SAns wants,most black ppl see nothing wrong with BRICS especially because of the reasons why it was started, but on the other hand white elites in SA do not want it because it does not serve their interest, it is going to give other ppl power. John talks abt war in Ukraine but I have never heard him mention the current wars in Africa or how middle east was wrongfully invaded,again bcos it does not serve their interest.
However,there are concerns where we want the same things but the issue here is that its not for the same reasons, for the white elites it is to protect their interest and making sure the country is stable so that they can continue doing what they do. Everything they do is for them and their ppl…it just happened that unfortunately they are in a country where black ppl are the majority and there is certain things they cannot do without them.
