I'm liking the idea, but my experience is disappointing due to the terpenes being washed away. Did my outside plants have dirt, bugs and debry in them? Yes, but the pungent aroma and the sticky coating coming from my harvest just got washed away. I won't be doing that again.
Bro, you can literally tell after one hit bud is washed. No terps, no crystals on the outside, bland high. I always avoid washed bud at the dispo. Obviously dont wash my own. DONT RUIN YOUR OUTDOOR
As strictly an Outside Central New York grower i definitely bud wash 1-cup hydro to 5 gallon filtered water 1-cup lemon juice – 5 gallon water 30 gallon barrel for rinsing
Especially when we have had the Canadian Fires ..
When you get 10 oz plants to 800 gram plants yes you do
And zero effect and it's pretty amazing what comes off ..
Do pro dispensary growers wash thier bud?No They Do NOT ..hahaaid your weed is grown in dilthy conditions then prey for some consecutive rainy days,it does same thing except its natural and not dude dunking in buckets of water, you loose trich as well and create problems for the dry..my opinion..
Hell yea brother. Love to see a grower expand his knowledge. Agree with everything you said go. Bud washing was only invented because the oldies would wash them outdoor grows! Still good practice for those with less then perfect environments.
I had to give myself a crash course in budwashing with your technique when I had spider mites but still made it to harvest. It works and doesn't hurt the buds at all. I was doing it for a while regardless but have gone back to not doing it. I have no hesitation to do it if needed in the future.

There’s bug shit on the buds when you grow outside
Yes !
I washed because I had a case of powdery mildew at the very end of flowering my outdoor plants this season. Seems to have worked great.

Nope. Shake the buds out good at harvest n thats good enough. Washing always incourages oxidation
I grew in my backyard in pots. After looking at them through a microscope I will always wash them. The buds catches everything that goes by including

Yea but not everyone is able to do indoor grows cause of money. Indoor grow equipment are expensive. Just cheaper to grow outdoors if able
Fullllllly agree. Outside grow. May need rinse. Inside Grow. Not necessary
I feel assured when washing my buds even if I don't have mold or pest. I removed dust hair ect.
I'm about to bud wash! I've heard peroxide should be used. Is that ok or no?
I fon't need to hear this right yet as I don't have s tent and I'm growing outside right now, but👆… I'll watch my boy to show some support👊

I have always been in a tent and never saw a reason but hell yeah outdoor or any other way yes.
Why!? It's all organic!
What could possibly go wrong other than removing the "sticky stuff".
NoWayJose:)
You deserve this silver play button!
cheers
