  1. 6:42 I honestly believe the Prosecution is not playing games. The IGG is quite new that Bill Thompson is not familiar with. In this case, it was the project of the MPD and the FBI to help the MPD do the process of elimination on suspects using surnames. Once they honed in on Bryan, it wasn't useful anymore, but they had other things in place more strong to hone in on him with such as surveillance. I did hear something about profiles such as these being taken down, erased after usage, so the Prosecution may not have even had it. This is just something his Defense is using to create doubt in the public since they have no defense at all.

  2. 6:15 I suspect the Prosecution is not wanting to use the IGG because Bryan does not show on the Genealogical tree. The only people that show on the tree are his distant relatives many of which he doesn't know. However, their surnames are Kohberger, so it matches to a Kohberger on LE's suspect shortlist, now they can cross maybe the other 3 or 4 guys off the suspect shortlist whose last name is not Kohberger, since there really isn't any DNA evidence on those other suspects anyway other than Bryan. So since Bryan's name is not on the list, it kind of becomes irrelevant in a way because it does not directly tie him to the crime. It looks like just a tool that says to you, 'Look closely at anyone in that area last name Kohberger' whether it's a Mary Kohberger, Linda Kohberger, Buddy Kohberger etc.

From my understanding, when the sheath DNA garnered no hits in CODIS LE was left with DNA with no identification. FBI stepped in and suggested they try Genealogy to garner a surname to match to surnames on LE's suspect shortlist. At this time, I'm sure they knew who Kohberger was due to the PCA stating the two campus cops calling in an Elantra in the lot at different times. The Elantra had only one plate just like the one in all the surveillance LE confiscated in the vicinity the days immediately after the murders. One of the campus cops ran query on the car that came back to Bryan. They knew who he was from this information before the IGG perhaps had been done or while DNA was being tested, but there was no planting that his supporters elsewhere seem to think.

He was placed on the shortlist. They needed a last name to cross off their suspect shortlist similar to process of elimination. The dad had nothing to do with the IGG. The IGG was performed before the trek back home because LE was already on to him. His dad only got drug into this because once the IGG produced surnames of Kohberger, and he was on the suspect shortlist they followed him home and took trash from the bin to make certain there was a connection. The trash from the bin showed it belonged to Michael and was a familial match to DNA left at the crime scene.

3:21 I can't prove this, but I believe the DNA found on the knife sheath was blood of Bryan and copious amounts of it when he injured himself. They are just telling you they took DNA from the button because the blood elsewhere on the sheath was soaked into the leather probably still could net results but trace amounts of his blood on the button worked better for them.

  4. the best evidence it is a textbook case of a witch hunt is the degree of anti-BK hatred expressed in social media.

I think the dna comparison test was a stage magician's trick, an absurd hoax. The dumb as f main media have not questioned the story.

iI's not surprising that we can fool people with words into believing anything on no evidence.

It is said that they did a dna comparison test which compared some markers in the sheath dna to markers in BK's dna. There are many hundreds of thousands of markers in a dna sample. One feature of an SNP marker is that it occurs in at least 1% of the population. This means that a dna sample taken from any human will have thousands of markers which match BK. This means even an incomplete sample, as the sheath sample was said to be, will have markers that match BK, no matter which human the sheath dna sample came from. At present, we cannot trust that the test was done fairly. A blueprint for falslely convicting BK on no evidence, would be to only use markers in the sheath dna comparison test that were pre-checked to ensure that they were also in BK's cheek swab dna. I am guessing this is what happened. In our bureaucratic world today. The person who did the sheath dna comparison test may not be in full possession of the facts. Someone may have asked him to do the test on specific markers. It is said in a youtuibe comment that 32 SNP markers were used. Why were those markers chosen, out of thosuands of possibilities? Is it because they chose markrs that they already know were in BK"s cheek swab dna? Did they leave out markers that they knew would clear BK? IF so it is possible that the people doing the test did not understand what they were doing. But someone in the chain of custody must have known that the result was fake if they leave out markers that that they know are not in BK's dna. Is the deception given by the statement "almost a perfect match"? Is this a Freudian slip? "almost a perfect match" means, at the very least, that it is lilkely to be his dna on the knive sheath. But if they left out markers knowing that they did not match BK, this can only have been in order to deceive, aad therefore the statement "almost a perfect match" is a lie put there to frame BK. Maybe there were commercial pressures on someone to obtain the desired result.

  5. What if a person opted to have their DNA removed and destroyed from system did so on the IGG and the company did not do so. Does the defense have the right to see if anyone that was used in building the DNA ancestory information was supposed to have had it removed ? If you request that Ancestry delete your DNA Data, they will delete all Genetic Information, including any derivative Genetic Information (ethnicity estimates, genetic relative matches, etc.) from our production, development, analytics, and research systems within 30 days.

  6. Cell phone pings do not stop when you shut off phone. According to records from ATT, confirmed he regularly took drives late at night and durning these drives the phone would stop pinging. This usually happens in wooded areas. A ping will only tell you the phone was within a 63.2 mile radius of a tower. If the phone is in use, but not triangulated due to signal strength, you can narrow it down to 10.2 miles… Bryan stayed 8.2 miles from the murder scene. All the police information given pinpointing streets he was on were not possible. THIS SHOULD BE AN EASY WIN FOR THE DEFENSE IF THEY WERE COMPETENT.

  7. If IGG was not used.. then all the rest of the information of statements on the PCA show that Bryan was the main suspect 2 weeks after the murder. They did not question him, they did not get a warrant for his car, apt and DNA ? They left him alone and then let him leave town. Everything in the PCA that they gave judge and issued a warrant was information they had for weeks ! Why would they question 200 people, collect DNA from them, but not Bryan ?

  8. Why were "survivors and any other person at the scene no charged with a felony according to Idaho laws ? It is a felony to delay reporting, but they had time to call all the friends. Witnesses next door have said people were gathering as early as 8:30 am and twitter shows messages about the stabbings as early as 9:30am

  9. I cannot wait till defense drops this bombshell.. Videos of suspect car shows amber lights in the tail light assy… Bryans car does not have amber lights in tail light assembly.. it was not an option in 2015.

  10. Would the IGG be relevant since the DNA collected from the trash was obtained on the 27th. The warrant was issued on the 29th. The only time a search warrant is not needed to collect evidence from trash is when it is put out for pick up, rendering it abandoned. They collected the evidence from the trash on the side of the house, not abandoned. SCOTUS has ruled that approximately a 10ft radius abound your house is protected by the same search and seizure laws as the house itself. This would render all DNA evidence inadmissible.

  11. The defense can show reasonable doubt and they can call witnesses, in particular a Professor from the university of Indianapolis…A study was done by graduate students Cynthia Cale and Madison Earll. It looked at secondary DNAโ€“ whether it can be transferred to objects from someone who never touched the smoking gun. During this study, subjects shook hands for two minutes then handled test knives. The results were shocking after they swabbed the object for DNA.

โ€œIn 85 percent of the samples in this particular study we detected DNA on the object from individuals who did not have direct contact with the object. Their DNA was transferred to the object by the person they had direct contact with,โ€ said Latham.

85% is more than enough for reasonable doubt, don't you think, especially when they can not show a connection to Bryan and the Sheath ?

  12. Will the Defense in Bryan Kohberger's Case Achieve Their Desired Outcome? even if that is possible or true they have other evidence against him โ€˜Hairs,โ€™ computer, glove & Walmart receipt among items seized from suspect Bryan Kohbergerโ€™s home The items seized from Kohberger's residence include one disposable black glove, receipts from Walmart and Marshalls, a dust container vacuum, possible hair strands, one "Fire TV" stick, one possible animal hair strand, one computer tower, an item with a dark red spot, Digital phone forensics along with the computer tower=digitial footprints=clues to different things like the victims locations and other things too. Bryan Kohberger Visited Idaho Student Union plus the idaho student union and the king road house where the murder took place is only 14 minutes apart from each other putting even more and more closer to the crime that happen on the king road residence 14 min (0.7 mile)

from 1122 King Rd, Moscow, ID 83843

to Pitman Center, Moscow, ID 83843 14 min (0.7 mile)

  13. 4:17: "But, remember, [LE] had the DNA evidence before they knew who [BK] even was." No, that hasn't been proven. The police just claimed they didn't know who BK was when they sent the DNA through their CODIS system. Now the prosecution is fighting hard to withhold the evidence relevant to that question. Why not produce it if everything was on the up and up?

  14. DV cases definitely are very messy. Hard to believe/feel that justice is served when a defendant accepts a plea deal only if no punitive damage (incarceration) is part of her sentence. This has been our familyโ€™s recent experience.

  15. This trial will go much like the trial of Alec Murdaugh. DNA will not the the star in this case. Will show BK's phone being in that area multiple times leading up to the murders, circling many times just before the murders, turned off during the murder then his car on camera fleeing after the murders. Then returned to the scene of the murders later that morning before returning to his apartment. Did someone steal his car and phone and do all that too? His only defense is he was bored and driving around. REALLY? All night circling that house, then home, then back to spy on the scene before 911 was even called. Don't think so.

  16. Also, we donโ€™t know what the worse piece of evidence is because all of the evidence is under a gag order! We only know what was presented in the very beginning. WHICH IS STILL A TON OF EVIDENCE!!!!

  17. These hearings have become ridiculous. I mean they have had 3 hearings on cameras for God sakes. Alllllll DNA should come in. The Grand Jury got it right. There. Schedule the trial. You are allowing this nonsense to torture the families!!!! This coddling a killer nonsense is really just gross.

  18. Burglary ? But No forced entry ..how? The attorney for BK should brimg in the girl who seen DM with 3 friends at 8 am smoking a joint that morning and the guy who was texted about the stabbings before 9 am ,the morning of the murders. Idk all the evidence the state has,but i know that where there is a lie, there is a cover up! They need more then what they have to give a man the death penalty.

  19. Give me a part of the original sample. Sorry, we only have one sample, and you don't get to have a part of it. Why not? Because the sample is so tiny, that it cannot be divided. But I want to do my own DNA test of the sample. Sorry there is no sample to give, because the only sample was destroyed while testing.
