  1. I don't think I have ever listened to a podcast TWICE until THIS ONE! Remarkable information, which gave me a shot of inspiration that I really needed. Please get her back on the podcast soon! Thank you!

  2. Best Plantstrong podcast ever!! Dr Means is so knowledgeable, articulate and engaging! A huge amount excellent information in a short time. I'll look forward to hearing her again and to her book release next May.

  3. Wow!!! What a beautiful, INTELLIGENT, and OH SO RELATABLE young woman!!!! I definitely scooted over to Amazon to pre-order her book and can’t wait to dive right in to learn more to help myself. Such a heartbreaking side-story about Casey’s mom. Thank you, Casey, for trying with all your heart to help the rest of us the way you wish you could have helped your mom. ❤

  4. Hmmm… Casey Means through her Levels app has access to tons of good information about how particular foods impact BG’s. I’m wondering why she works so hard to be plant-based—even to the point of creating imitation-type foods—at least when it comes to primarily health reasons, when she can see that low carb keeps BG more stable and lower throughout the day. Whole foods are definitely healthy, but absolutely every indigenous group around the world is centered around meat and meat fat. Each culture eats local and their diets vary as to how much carbohydrates they eat, but no group can exist without some animal protein.

  5. She is telling the truth, I am soo happy to see that the next generation has caught on to what I think is behind all of the deception, the pharmaceutical and insurance companies have paid off our farmers and politicians, they pass the laws. We tried to forbid people from buying sodas with food stamps, because the children’s teeth are being destroyed with it and other cheap sugars. We found out the pharmaceutical companies paid off the politicians to vote NO, and it didn’t happen. The only way to change this horrible declining of our health and the next generation is know who we are voting for, and stop buying the fast food and processed food. Hitting them in the wallet is the only way. She needs to keep talking like you and your family is Rip, thanks soo much.

  6. What is a polyphenol supplement that she talked about in the study with Mediterranean diet? In am Wfpb but have had trouble with A Flutter and lost a 1:30:55 large amount of blood . I have been eating too much trying to feel better. I think i now have insulin resistance. I still eat my meals correct but eat between meals . Anyway i need some help to get under control.
    Yes more on insulin resistance.
This was a great interview, some things over my head.
Thinks Rip for these great interview s

  7. Rip, I don't know if you read your comments but balsamic vinegar is a simple probiotic to add to everything. I LOVE❤️ pomegranate balsamic drizzled over my oats!!Credit to Essy for getting me hooked on balsamic, any other vinegar is not palatable to me.

  8. I’m new to exploring the WFPB community and I always look forward to a new Plantstrong podcast. It’s such an informative channel! I’m learning just how cherished the entire Esselstyn family is in the community. Good health to all 🙏🏼
