Speaking of manuals, ive been kicking around the decision to trade in my 2017 mustang gt for a new dark horse. I went to the dealer and they didn't have one. So i asked if they had any GTs with a manual. The sales kid said, "Well they all come with an owners manual." I was like, yeah na like a manual transmission…a stick shift. The kid looked at me like i just pulled my own hat off and pooped in it and asked "Why would you want a manual transmission in a brand new car?" I just told him "See. When i tell my buddies about this, ill be referring to you as a kid for that question alone." Unbelievable. To be clear im only 36. But when i was his age i wouldnt OWN a vehicle with an automatic transmission. Period. Shows how fast things have changed and for the worse. Such a shame. Rumor has it, when mustangs do go fully electric in 2030, they 100% WILL have a manual transmission option. Which i think is like one of the coolest things ive ever heard.
Mr Tomley, loving the content. Have an advice question. Just picked up the HPI E30 drifter. Looking at putting a set of grippery tires and nicer wheels for high speed road runs. Any suggestions 💚💚💚
