Oh exciting, I do HP soaps. There is a lot you can still do as far as decorating/styling just have to work fast 😊. Look forward to seeing you do the HP.
Aw man would have loved to see the test without your watch on. Seeing you exfoliate your arm and hands to see how it performs. The watch was distracting😊
When i use the premade whipped soap base. I add a cube of melted M & P soap at a time. I also leave my batch sit over night. Check batch the consistency the next day to see if i need to and add another cube of M & P. Melt and pour sets up pretty fast. You really dont need alot IMO.
I use MP, Shea and coco butter to make sugar scrub cubes. I do like what the butters do with MP to make a moisturizing scrub. I should definitely try this recipe!
Jerika I just made last week a 2/14 set ( like I called my V day this year) with a foaming sugar scrub scented with jasmine Sam back absolute and geranium adding kaolin clay and rose petals from NG as well. I am not a floral person by any means and it’s beautiful. The kaolin clay has a nice slippery feeling and provides structure to the scrub as well. Last year I made rose Quartz soap using BB fragrance and had no acceleration issues. You should try it, but remember I am a very low temp soaper. Cheers for rose 🌹 sugar scrubs! Love it
Jerika! These are so beautiful! I have to say I'm someone who likes chunky scrubs but I also like the smooth ones. I am sure there's people out there who will be excited to buy a chunkier soap so dont be down about the texture. This was a fun experiment to watch! I have to ask, for the mica spray, do you just mix mica with alcohol into a spritz bottle? I've been curious about using something like that for my bath bombs but unsure of a good method.
Is it safe to use mica powder? I’ve heard it’s rarely ethically sourced and can cause skin irritation issues.
❤
Where do you get your jars?
Do you have the recipe for the foaming base?
What a fab product, I would love the recipe….do you still have Patron Jerika, I can’t find it ❤ Whoops never mind, found it 😂
With Brambleberry's labels, I put packing tape all the around the bottle. It's a pain but it works
Cant wait to order
Did you cool down the butter and base before adding to the sugar and bath base?
This is beautiful! I have powdered rose petals I wonder if it would change to a brownish with it I’m not to sure but I’m gonna give it a shot!
Beautiful. The rose petals throughout and on top make it look so romantic.

I have goat milk MP. Do you think it will still work?

Is there a big difference between this feel of foaming body scrub and the emulsified (lotion) body scrub?

Nice job may have to try this with maybe a little less melt and pour.
